United Auto Workers President Dennis Williams said his union won’t endorse Donald Trump for U.S. president, all but assuring support for Hillary Clinton as she closes in on the Democratic nomination.

Williams said the UAW will wait until the conclusion of the Democratic primary before endorsing a candidate. Clinton has 2,293 delegates to 1,533 for rival Bernie Sanders, according to data compiled by the Associated Press. Clinton needs only 90 of the remaining 939 unallocated delegates to lock up the nomination, according to the AP’s data.

And why not? Unions have always endorsed the commie or the closest thing to it in every election. After all, they're so good for the economy and the "American worker".

Union bosses with their cushy jobs and their corrupt positions will back Clinton.

Honest, hard working auto workers will back Trump.

Follow the money. The union “leaders” are Democrat hacks anyways. The shocker for them, the punditry class, and the media on Election night will be the large rank and file union vote coming in for Trump.

Hahah the leadership might.. the rank and file will be voting for Trump.... Just like they did for Reagan.

Its almost comical that Trump may be the person that is able to recreate the Reagan coalition and restart the conservative movement that the GOPe squashed with GB I.

Union leaders are part of the Washington establishment. Trump directly threatens the club. Ayn Rand told us all about union bosses cozy to the establishment in Atlas Shrugged.

Not really news. I mean I understand why it would be a story but is anyone even mildly surprised?

Well....government IS union.

In fact, it's the largest union membership group in the world.

To unions, business owners are the adversary. Trump is a very successful business owner. The membership does not always support the union either.
