Whatever Dr. Carson says is delivered with a face of calm sincerity, and not a trace of sarcasm or even venom.
He is obviously a wonderful man and usually a voice of reason and civility, etc. But, as the Conservative Treehouse piece revealed, what he was saying was intended to elicit reaction and not be taken as definitive.
