Republicans recently had two Mormon candidates for President: John Huntsman & Mitt Romney. Both were not able to win & both are not supporting the Republican Party. Glenn Beck is another Mormon not supporting the Republican Party after his candidate lost. Seems there is some character flaw among the LDS crowd that makes some think it’s a cult!
