Russian missile obliterates Turkish helicopter killing two in shock attack video

RUSSIAN weapons have blasted a Turkish helicopter out of the sky in a stunning attack caught on camera.

By Michael Havis / Published 14th May 2016

Jaw-dropping footage from Turkey shows fighters loading a Russian-made MANPADS surface-to-air missile launcher.

Moments later a missile is hurtling towards a distant helicopter, smashing its rear rotor off and sending it into a tailspin.

The helicopter then plummets to the floor trailing debris, in an attack that would claim the lives of both pilots.

It comes after Turkey shot down a Russian plane in November, bringing the two nations to the brink of war.

Online sources indicate that responsibility for downing the helicopter lies with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The group is locked in an intensifying armed struggle against the Turkish state in a bid to win more rights for Kurdish people.

Hakkari province in Turkey, where the incident took place, has a majority Kurdish population and was the scene of fighting yesterday.

It’s believed six Turkish soldiers died fighting the Kurds combat near Çukurca and the helicopter was on its way to support the military.

Army sources initially said the helicopter had suffered a technical malfunction, but the new footage has revealed the truth.

Now some people are accusing the Russian government of arming the PKK in a bid to settle the score with Turkey.

Turkey is a member of NATO.

An attack against one member is an attack against all.

Let's write a strongly-worded letter to the Russians.

Turkey's president is a extreme Muslim. We should kick Turkey out of NATO or ignore this “offense.”

The Kurds are helping us against ISIS. Turkey is buying ISIS oil for pennies on the dollar.

Nuke Turkey.

Clearly, a very serious issue is going to arise with Turkey being a NATO member while being a hegemonic Islamic state steadily increasing in its insanity; along with the mutual defense aspects of NATO.

I don’t see Turkey being allowed to continue in NATO, but I am not the best predictor of these things. They are certainly no friend of the US.

this was predictable. One of the levers Putin has against Turkey is to support the PKK.

And now Comrade Putin has two western allies fighting with each other.

He has taken the measure of western “Leadership” and he knows there will be no real consequences.

So, Comrade Putin has put Nato credibility in question, divided our allies, & hit Turkey - not bad for a days work.

The only question is how Obama and Rhodes will try to spin this as a sign of Russian “weakness”.

Turkey was attacking them. It isn’t an attack on all when someone defends themselves from a NATO member who goes on the attack.

Also, all that is required is for members to take the actions they ‘deem necessary’. Nobody is required to lift a finger.

[[Turkey is a member of NATO.

That’s the same Turkey that is flooding Europe with ISIS.
That’s the same Turkey that is threatening to open the flood gates of millions more muslims into Europe .
That’s the same Turkey whose leader is backing ISIS .
That’s the same Turkey whose leader wishes to revive the Ottoman Empire .
That’s the Turkey who should have never been in NATO to begin with

NATO Has been obsolete since the collapse of the USSR. I'm tired of our country paying for it.

So is Mr. Trump

Oh, I know. I understand, and I agree with you.

My point is that this exchange of fire could bring an end to NATO, and our national leaders are doing nothing about it.

They are busying themselves with the concerns of men who like to dress up and pretend to be women, and whether their choice of public toilet facilities is properly respected by every American including children.

I recently said that the transvestite bathroom issue is being used as a distraction, to keep our eyes off what the left hand is doing. I was unable to hazard a guess as to what the left hand might be doing, but now I think I see it.

Obama will leave office having made a ruin out of our pattern of alliances among first-world countries. This was one of his goals coming into office, just as Reagan had a goal of putting an end to the USSR. He will have accomplished his goal as he leaves his second term.

Obama actually said that Reagan was his model for how he would conduct his Presidency. Now we see the truth in his words.

It wasn’t the Russians that shot it down, it was Kurds using Russian missiles.

Turkey is a member of NATO.

An attack against one member is an attack against all.

An attack against Turkey is a service to humanity.
