Maybe there won’t be enough revenues to support a middle class that gets all of its income from government.
Maybe too many NIMBYs and other suckups have been indulging in a futile effort to destroy the wrong side (unemployed manufacturers and builders from the dissolving private sector).
Duh?
It does distract people from more Syrian Muslims brought in and the new wave of “unaccompanied minors” from south of the border, but the effort can serve multiple purposes at once.
That’s right; people connected to news media 24/7 are bombarded with distractions while our way of life is destroyed & sold...

The middle class is being destroyed.

But, generally speaking, the protective system in these days is conservative, while the free trade system works destructively. It breaks up old nationalities and carries antagonism of proletariat and bourgeoisie to the uttermost point. In a word, the free trade system hastens the Social Revolution. In this revolutionary sense alone, gentlemen, I am in favor of free trade.
