The height of irony.

Maybe he does and is playing some unseen agenda game behind the scenes, but Ryan appears to not see that his arrogant, condescending behavior towards Trump, the presidential nominee of his own party, is exactly why the voters are voting for Trump. They are sick and tired of the politicians like Ryan.

When Trump first announced last June, I took it to be a stunt. I knew who he was, but I never watched any of his TV programs, etc.

At that time, I was sort of leaning toward Cruz, but there was always something about him that bothered me. Cruz came across as a slickster.

When there were raving posts and threads over some of Trump’s early rallies and 10s of thousands of attendees, I decided to watch one and see what all of the hoopla was about.

He was late, but as soon as he got to the mic, he was endearing and had the audience in his hands. He sort of babbled about stuff, nonsequiturs, general points. But he was captivating.

One thing I noticed was that he seemed sincere and genuine. He talked briefly about this wealth and how proud he was that he had it. No apology. He talked TO the audience, not AT them. Sometimes, he would invite a stranger upon the stage and engage with them. When he said he wanted to ‘Make America Great Again’, he was believable.

A couple of days later, I watched another rally. It was the same Trump who showed up there.

If anything, he was not a typical politician and not even a politician.

Maybe as president, he falls on his face, but he certainly can do no worse than the professional politicians have done and are doing. If he does half of what he has promoted, he will be 10 times better than the last 4 presidents.

Heroes are genuine people and politicians are in awe of them.

Of course the longer one is in politics, the more one forgets heroism and courage.

Ryan met with an American hero...it set him back a bit, I imagine.

Ryan will come to terms with the facts.

President Trump!

I am not crazy about Trump hob knobbing with this sleaze bag.

I am assuming he is assessing what he has to work with. Trump says he is a great judge of character.

Trump has said send me into a pack of wolves and I come out
the leader of the pack.

Trump better come out that way.

Ryan is not a real Conservative, and he wants to cut social security so they can continue to steal from it.

“How do we make THEM (in Congress) care what we think?! Aren’t we supposed to be the drivers?”

Good questions.

#1: The old fashioned way. Call and write. Tell them you are pizzed off and if they do not get off the gravy train, and their egos, you will tell 100 people who you know to vote for someone else, and contribute to someone else.

#2: Go to the FEC website. Find their donors (they are all listed) Call the donors and politely ask them why they are not encouraging the rep to act/vote the right way. DO not be rund or abrasive in any way, not ask them why they supported the candidate, rather politely ask questions that raise the point “Why isn’t this member not doing the things we both agree he / she should be doing???????

#3. Go to their campaign rallies and Hq and politely ask the same questions. Fine their aides (they’ll be the ones in the dark suits and red ties. Ask to speak to the head aide or Chief of Staff, or even the spouse. Again, POLITELY ask questions.

Much better to ask “directed/push questions” than make statements!!!

And remember, “The Members run the Country.... and the Chief of Staff / spouse runs the Member” :)

“”””I think we will get more than enough votes, and we don’t need these guys. We have added MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of new republican voters. They are not followers of Ryan, Romney and the GOPe highway to hillary. “””

Never make that assumption!!!! We’ll all rest on Wednesday, November 8th.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, run like it’s Election eve and you are still three points behind!!!!!

In my mind, Trump is the only leader among all these politicians. He may make kissie-huggie with Ryan to get support for the fall campaign to defeat Hillary and the Dems, but as the leader of the party by way of winning the nomination the old fashion way, you can be assured he will be in charge.

Most politicians are not "leaders". They all follow, fit in and go along. That's not leading. They're taught how to act, how to speak, how to be duplicitous without really giving an answer. Except for the quality of their suits, they are not much different than used car salesmen, who I think rank higher in polls of Americans on who they trust and respect the least.

Trump, on the other hand, stands out, sometimes all by himself, against everybody else. He goes where the politicians won't go....that's what real leaders do. He speaks directly and frankly to the voters and then lets the chips fall where they may. My kind of leader. He was warned and critiqued from the get-go that he was not serious, that he was a clown, that he was not presidential enough, that he would never make it very far, that he was going to self-imploded any week now, etc., etc., etc., yada, yada, yada, blah, blah, blah.

And guess what? He ignored everybody and plowed through the pack and discharged each of them one after another until he was the last one standing.

When you lead the pack, you stand alone.

Ryan ‘gushed’ after the meeting, and Trump’s simple statement was he ‘thought it went well’. I take Trump’s not terribly enthusiastic response to mean ‘yep, they are weasels. I will still have to crush them, but I’ll be nice about it’ lol

Its not important. That little puke will likely be gone after Nov. Replaced by Paul Nehlen a much better person.

Another WI poll has Nehlen up 48-41. The people in Janesville vote agains’t Ryan every election. He jokes about it. His own hometown can’t stand him.

“What a total load of bs. He lectures on the constitution and caved everything to Obama.”

He even funded the importation of Islamic refugees/terrorists. That make Ryan a TRAITOR in my book.
These peole WILL rape & murder our men women and children!
