POLL: 45% of Bernie voters say they’re #NeverHillary, 15% will vote for Trump

Bernie Sanders supporters may be “feeling the Bern” for their own candidate, but nearly half are planning to give Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton the cold shoulder in November.

A YouGov poll released on Wednesday showed that 45 percent of Democrats who preferred Sanders in the primary, do not plan on voting for Clinton in the general.

Supporters of the Vermont senator are extremely divided; 18 percent said they plan on voting for a third-party candidate like Jill Stein of the Green Party, 15 percent would support the presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, 9 percent were unsure, and 3 percent do not plan on voting at all.

The split on the left comes after months of rising tension between Sanders, the Democratic establishment, and Clinton.

Countless times, the Democratic establishment has gone out of their way to make it easier for Clinton to win, from debate scheduling to endorsements, they’re all in against the Vermont senator.

At the same time, Sanders’ rhetoric against the former First Lady has grown more negative and more aggressive.

On April 7, Sanders even said Clinton was “not qualified” to be president because of her decision to vote for the Iraq War and her close relationship with Wall Street...

Add that to the +60% Republican and -30% Democrat turnout this cycle and only about 70% of Blacks saying they'll vote for Hillary we just might see a blowout...who knows?

I’ll settle for a regular, run-of-the-mill landslide.

This has been obvious from last July, if Trump got the nomination, he would win and win big.... the fact that the pundits have been blind to this, and still to this day are trying to gin up “this will be a tight race” nonsense... or “they will be battling in the traditional states”... shows you just how out of touch they are.

Hillary stands no chance against Trump... best case, absolute best case for her is maybe 15 states and about 180 EC votes.... More realistic case, Trump gets 40+ states and over 400 EC votes.

I absolutely refuse to believe either figure.Bernie’s supporters might not do so with enthusiasm but 98% of them would vote Hillary because 100% of them see Trump as Satan’s evil twin.

Which is exactly why 100% of them will believe the Former Twelfth Lady when she tells them that Trump will have "gays","transgenders",blacks, women, moslems,Hispanics and every other victim of this despicable society of ours hanging from tree branches within a month of taking office

I just want Trump to get at least 270 Electoral Votes and have a Republican Congress. The numbers suggest that will easily happen in November, but nobody should get complacent. Election Day is just under six months away.

That I believe ..until it changes.

An awful lot of talk coming from Biden these past few days.

IF..a big IF, Hillary crashes via indictment before the convention, I fully expect a Biden run...and IF he puts fauxcahontas on there with him..the Bernie and Warren camps would have to fight it out.

No time for complacency this season. Need Nachum’s list for the last 8 years to provide every reason not to vote for ANYONE remotely associated with the 0bama administration.

I’ve actually met a few hard core socialists who are smart enough to understand that some capitalism is necessary in order to produce a surplus from which they can loot.

I believe this was the backup plan all along. That if Crooked Hillary got indicted or otherwise had to drop out of the race, a tanned and rested Joe Biden would "ride to the rescue" with that fake Indian senator from Massachusetts in tow.

However Bernie has really upset the apple cart. He was supposed to have been knocked out of contention by now. Now if Shrillary has to drop out, Bernie will have a valid case for the nomination. This was NOT PLANNED by the Democrat establishment who wants Bernie about as badly as the GOP establishment wanted Donald Trump.

Each day that Bernie hangs in there, the harder it will be for Bernie supporters to get behind a last minute Biden/Warren ticket.

15 percent would support the presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump

That's enough for Trump to win.

I wouldn't get too pumped up over this. All Clinton would have to do, if she was savvy, was bring in Bernie as VP and all his lemmings would follow. IMO, if that scenario plays out, we're gonna have one Helluva election.

Her cynical rationale would be that the guy wouldn't last more than one term and then she could bring in Warren the next time - if she won.

Yesterday Bernie told his Audience that no matter what happens with his Campaign the main purpose is to Defeat Trump and the Republicans.

All his Supporters will Vote for the Hildebeast, count on it.

Bernie will wave his Magic Socialism Wand and they will all obey. Don’t doubt me.

I wouldn't be so sure that Bernie's people would "fall in line" if he was put on the ticket as VP.

How would many of us feel if Bush managed to win the nomination in a tight race with Trump and then added Trump to the ticket? Now we know Trump would never accept that but let's just say hypothetically this was the scenario.

I think many who supported Trump would feel betrayed that he sold himself out to the establishment and would not support that ticket.

I hope you're right - that's the only scenario that gives me the jitters, given the brainwashing these younger voters have undergone.

Sanders won’t be VP anyway, the Clinton’s hate him. I would guess Sherrod Brown of Ohio.
