Darn, I haven’t had any kind of donut in many years; now I’m hungry for some.
Many moons ago when I was a college student, I was a frequent customer at the KK right around the corner from campus. This store had a large neon sign that was fairly close to the ground with two foot high letters spelling out:
KRISPY KREME
DOUGHNUTS
Every time I went there, the ‘H’ in the bottom row was not lighting up, leaving this:
DOUG NUTS
Coincidence or someone with a BB gun? No matter, we all adopted ‘DOUG NUTS’ as the name of this product and still refer to it that way today.
Spudnuts used to be pretty good. Great maple bars.
So she said her name was Krispy Kreme?
Darn, I first thought this was about Cris Christie.
Euler not.
I was never impressed with this company. in fact they left state completly
At first I thought it was talking about a certain New Jersey politician...
I tasted their donuts once many years ago. I am a huge glazed donut fan and heard from everyone how good they were. They were oily, greasy pucks and tasted awful. I don’t get it..
