I wasn’t thinking that soeotoro’s mother being a whore had anything to do with race. What sticks in my craw was that she slept around and posed for dirty pictures with Frank Marshall Davis.
I guess I thought the interracial angle scandalous when I was ten. But from Vietnam forward, I’ve considered values more important than race or anything else.

You're correct in that her sexual promiscuousness and crossing the racial divide constitute seperate acts.
I was pointing out that at that time, if whorish behavior was considered bad, whorish behavior with blacks was considered much worse.
But I do believe her willingness to cross the color line back then constitutes a sort of "doubling down" on her sluttish disregard for convention.
It definitely provides an additional measurement of her rebelliousness and loose morals as gauged by the attitudes that prevailed in 1960.
I think you misunderstood my query - which was really intended as a sarcastic comment toward the detractors who for the past several months have ridiculed almost all articles published from Townhall.
I admired your willingness to brave the ire of the zot patrol by continuing to post Townhall articles despite the barrage of the “ClownHall” posts. I have noticed here lately that the obligatory “ClownHall” graphics are not showing up as much, so maybe Townhall is gradually becoming acceptable material around here again.
