I bet the illegal brags about this. He gets special threatens over citizens.
White liberals are the ones out getting drunk at C D’M celebrations. Can’ have them being inconvenienced!
Any excuse for a party!
PC trumps lives. Stop the world, I want to get off.
Chalk is now restricted.
Someone may write a Trump slogan!
If they decide to take you up on that offer, please let me know so I can change my name to Gomez ;’}
By all means, let the drunks kill a few people to avoid being seen as anti-Latino. A$$hole!
Drunken crashes and souses killing pedestrians would seem to be an essential part of this holiday.
“”I guess we wont have any this New Years Eve as that would offend everyone too””
Or St. Patrick’s Day - have at it Irish!!!!!
A day to celebrate defeating the French. Like who doesn’t do that?
We should cancel Cinco De Mayo because it offends French people.
I’ve always understood that the origin of Cinco de Mayo as a festive holiday was more or less a marketing scheme cooked up by a Mexican-themed bar/restaurant chain in the United States, that it never was all that big of a deal in Mexico until after it became so in the US. So now, police are standing down in Oakland out of fear of what, stereotyping? When the whole thing was originally intended to encourage eating and drinking to excess? It’s all just so bizarre.
Isn't that what all holidays are for?
It wasn’t the origin and intent for almost all holidays. Cinco de Mayo and St. Patrick’s Day stand alone, having morphed into an excuse for drinking to excess in the US, despite having been somber days of remembrance in their respective countries of origin up to that point.
Like Algeria?
Wadya expect?
I think the roadblocks are illegal .....look how most of the comments criticize there not being an illegal search....amazing how the sheeple effect hits so called “freepers”....DUI’s are not about safety they are a cash cow to the states...wake up roadblocks are illegal currency raising events.
Well, you got it mostly right.
It WAS a marketing scheme, but the scheme was hatched by none other than Anheuser-Busch aka Budweiser brewing, but all of the other brewers jumped on that bandwagon shortly after they found out about the ad campaign and A-B's role got lost in the shuffle.
