Talking Point: Gun control laws the biggest con job in our nation’s history

The proposition you can vicariously control criminal or psychopathic behaviour by confiscating private property and burying law-abiding citizens under a mountain of regulation is simply absurd.

Former Australian prime minister John Howard has claimed success because there had not been another mass shooting. The reality is last year we had our first mass shooting (four or more victims in a single incident) when a man shot his wife and three children before taking his own life at Lockhart, NSW. Mental health issues were a factor and firearms had been confiscated from this house previously.

That's what happens when you have no guarantee of rights. Seeing how things are going here, just might be that a guarantee is meaningless. If the liberal extremist anti constitutional libs get there way through lies and pay offs.

On the issue of superiority of force, words and guarantees are indeed meaningless. The constitution only has as much power as the people give it, because the government sure as the dickens won't honor it in the long run.

Every “gun control” law on the books is an infringement on the Second Amendment, and therefore unconstitutional.

I used to love dreaming about the wide open spaces of Austrailia, it’s low “people per square mile” ratio’s, it’s rowdy and fun Aussie’s, and just wanting to visit if not live there some day.

No more. A government that will come into your house and take your guns under force is no government I want anything to do with. That the people of Austrailia voted these bastards into office says a lot too.

Gun control isn’t about guns or public safety, but about the left punishing those who don’t agree with them. It’s a tool, like women’s rights, income equality, and environmentalism-always just a means to acquire political power toward an ultimate end, which is totalitarian control of everything.

2nd Amendent unconstitutional infringement - which in my opinion should be grounds to immediately remove from office and prosecute any politician who attempts it - does the exact opposite of what the treasonists say: It gets people killed. The criminal will always have a method to kill you, and the bottom line is you will have no means of self defense because enemies of the people have been allowed to infringe upon OUR constitutional right and because of that, the criminal will win. You will lose your life.

It's those pesky firearms that keep showing up begging to be used.

Not only that, the government can confiscate your bank account as well. Australia should be called the USSR.

Dred Scott vs Sanford.
What the SCOTUS thought about gun control in the pre Civil War era.

http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/historics/USSC_CR_0060_0393_ZO.html

“It would give to persons of the negro race, who were recognised as citizens in any one State of the Union, the right to enter every other State whenever they pleased, singly or in companies, without pass or passport, and without obstruction, to sojourn there as long as they pleased, to go where they pleased at every hour of the day or night without molestation, unless they committed some violation of law for which a white man would be punished;
and it would give them the full liberty of speech in public and in private upon all subjects upon which its own citizens might speak; to hold public meetings upon political affairs,
and to KEEP AND CARRY ARMS wherever they went.”
***
Any wonder why AFTER THE CIVIL WAR the Second Amendment was suddenly redefined to be a “collective” and NOT individual right.

If we had more hammer control laws we could significantly reduce the crime of unlicensed, illegal alien carpenters stealing carpenter jobs from citizens.

GUN CONTROL FACTS
In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

What makes you think that our own liberals-socialists-progressives-communists-Marxists will behave any better than their predecessors when WE are disarmed?

Except for the final sentence, I got this from a post, probably here on FR, but maybe Breitbart or another such site. If I could recall who and where I’d credit it. If it was you, speak up!
