Ben Sasse and #NeverTrump’s Pedophile Problem
Danger and Play ^ | May 5, 2016 | Mike Cernovich

Ben Sasse and the rest of the GOP elite claim Trump is a menace who must be stopped “on principle.” Sasse and others have criticized Trump for not disavowing racists quickly enough (even though Trump disavowed racists repeatedly).

Sasse has a bigger problem – he supported a pedophile. Some suspect he used his position of authority to enable abuse.

Ben Sasse was in charge of supervising underage boys, who were later abused by members of Congress.

Ben Sasse was a tutor in the Congressional page program from 1996 to 1998. The Congressional page program brings underage boys to Congress to run errands for Congressmen. These young boys would run errands for Congressmen, and often sexual relationships would develop between the underage boys and members of Congress.

Read: Pedophilia enabling follows around GOP candidate for the U.S. Senate Ben Sasse, NE The Congressional page program was shut down in 2011 after numerous sex scandals occurred, including the Mark Foley sex scandal.

Pedophiles like Dennis Hastert fought earlier efforts to close down the page program:

On October 2, 2006, Representative Ray LaHood (R-IL) called for the page program to be temporarily suspended. He stated that “this is a flawed program. The fact that a member of Congress is sending e-mails to a page and that he can get away with it [shows that] obviously there are problems.” Two more Representatives, Jon Porter (R-NV) and Kay Granger (R-TX) also supported LaHood’s recommendation to suspend the page program until an outside team could evaluate its security protocol. Dennis Hastert announced on October 5, 2006 that he was launching an investigation to evaluate and make improvements to the page program...

I don’t believe the article is saying that Sasse himself is a pedophile. BUT, he was well-positioned to be quite aware of what was going on in the page program, and did nothing about it, but instead helped Paul Ryan and other Republican insiders cover it over.

He’d be sort of like the Joe Paterno of congressional Republicans.

Hastert was sentenced to prison for money laundering.

I don't think it was money laundering. It was structuring cash transactions in such a way to avoid a suspicious activity report from the bank.

Which, if true, would make him at least as culpable, IM0.

Agreed. The article is written for the least common denominator. It is hyperbole completely out of context.
Did those things happen to the Page’s in congress. Sort of. They certainly had real issues going on.

How was Sasse involved? It was his program. That is all.
The way people are talking here, every employer who hires a deviant should at the very least be named a deviant as well. Maybe locked up. It isn’t as if they wear a tattoo on their forehead that says they are kid touchers.

If you look at this third rate blogger’s Twitter timeline, you can see just how unhinged he is. The guy is certifiable. This is all part of an ongoing effort to destroy anyone who gets in the way of Trump.

Maybe he can investigate Ben Sasse for supporting pedophillia right after he gets done looking into Rafael Cruz’s role in the JFK assassination.

At this point, I hate to say, I’m inclined to just believe the accusations reflexively because of the decadent/immoral culture of DC. It’s modern-day Rome and the people in the halls of power have no moral compass. They backstab and claw their way there and once they get a taste they just sink their teeth into every perversion and personal character flaw that crosses their fancy, and the whole systems is designed to prop up their indulgences as long as they do the bidding of the funders who run things from behind the curtains.

No more.

Excellent. Well stated, and to me, what is really behind the support for The Donald..

Caligulas we are coming for all of you.

Wow, this is disgusting Denny Hastert level stuff. Not only will it seriously damage the #NeverTrump movement but it’s poster boy and media darling will be lucky to keep his seat.
Hope the exposure was worth it for the kid toucher who needed his 15 minutes.

You will have to provide some evidence to that claim, because I can find no evidence of that. Not saying it’s not true, just saying that I am skeptical at this point that someone at Heritage Foundation would make such a statement.

Sasse is a government lifer. Rubs me the wrong way when these so-called True American Conservatives turn out to be nothing more than decades long tax money takers.

As I mentioned above, you should read the article. It’s hyperbole. Written that way on purpose. He isn’t the kid toucher. He started a program to get kids interested in politics and the kid touchers in Congress... Touched kids. He didn’t. Our elected officials did.

This is BS. He was a tutor in a program where other men abused boys? What if I said you were a member of a church where some ministers abused boys.

And the ubiquitous “some say” line. “Some say” the Earth is flat” too.

I disagree. It is a situation that needs to be thoroughly investigated and vetted. There is institutional perversion amongst the elite and they need to be completely removed from any aspect of power, both the offenders and just as guilty enablers. Pedophilia is one of the more horrific crimes against humanity and those who participate or sustain it must be sought out and punished.

I agree and disagree. Child molestation is a horrific crime that justifies the death penalty, but being connected with children who were molested is not a crime. The entire molestation situation should be investigated, and anyone who knew or should have known should have their lives ruined. However, even a sleaze like Sasse is entitled to the presumption of innocence unless and until there is evidence connecting that scum to this crime.

If the members of the church knew about it and did nothing, then they’d have a measure of culpability, too.

Thank you! Innuendo is not sufficient for an attack, not even against someone we don't like.

At the very least he was involved in the program and his role is the crimes should be investigated. It’s obvious he will do and say anything for his GOPe masters and we need to know if that included grooming these young men for the likes of Foley and Hastert.

I agree. Adult interns would still be targets, but they are more capable of making that decision.

Investigate....”right after he gets done looking into Rafael Cruz’s role in the JFK assassination.”

It worked! Cruz jumped out of the race-rapido!

That story surrounding Papa Cruz was the impetus that caused Ted to suddenly quit. Wonder if we get to hear more about it. Inquiring minds...
