The wife of a DEA employee died two days after being shot in an apparently random drive-by shooting while she and her family were driving home to Illinois from Wisconsin Dells. Authorities believe the suspect had killed someone else just hours earlier in Milwaukee. Tracy Czaczkowski, 44, was heading home with her husband and children on a Wisconsin highway Sunday when she was shot in the neck by 20-year-old Zachary Hays, who was driving a Chevrolet Blazer. The gunman fired three shots as the Czaczkowski family passed by, hitting Tracy Czaczkowski once. The Czaczkowskis had just spent time in Wisconsin Dells, a city in the southern part of the state featuring theme parks and other scenic attractions. "The family is asking for privacy in this difficult time so that they can comfort each other," the DEA said in a statement Tuesday. "The family would like to say thank you for the prayers and outpouring of support for Tracy." Police later stopped Hays' vehicle with a spike strip and shot the driver after he displayed his gun. He was hospitalized and taken into custody. His brothers are being held at the Dane County Jail, the sheriff's office told ABC News. One of the brothers has been identified as 30-year-old Jeremy Hays. Investigators believe Zachary Hays killed 42-year-old Gabriel Sanchez in suburban Milwaukee just hours before the interstate shooting.
Heard about this in the morning news. It’s a tragedy, the man held his wife as she died, trying to keep her alive for the paramedics with their child in the back seat.
How do you recover from such a horror? This world is so cruel. People can be so terrible...

There are a couple of utube videos covering the incident one of them showing the individual in question lying in the middle of the Interstate after being shot by police. I ain’t making any reference to skin color or any other racial points...
