The freshman nursing major said that after most of the passengers in her rail car got off at the UIC-Halsted stop, one man moved to the seat in front of her. As the train left the station, Hughes said she got a bad feeling. That's when the 19-year-old said the man tried to take her iPhone.
"He started pushing me and then he pushed me to the floor and when he pushed me to the floor, he started hitting on me constantly. His body was on top of me holding me down so I couldn't fight back," she said.
But Hughes didn't let go of her phone, even when her attacker bit her hand. She says the woman her attacker was with then punched her in the face before both fled to another rail car without the iPhone or anything else. Hughes said she finally got some help at the Kedzie/Homan stop.
A day later, the swollen and bruised teen says it will be tough to ride the train again as she struggles to understand why she was targeted.
"The fact that there was two people and that, why me," she said.

She was targeted because the feral black youth perceived her as a weak white girl, who would not be able to fight them off.
Black youth feel empowered to do this sort of thing, because we have gotten so liberal, and bend over backwards to avoid charges of racism, that they have no fear of the consequences.
How times have changed. At one time, blacks feared getting into any kind of altercation with whites, for fear of being blamed or getting in trouble with the law. Nowadays, it’s the reverse, where whites are afraid of being accused of racism, or being at fault, if involved in an altercation with a member of a minority group.

I think they are baffled as to the motive. Even the victim is baffled. Everyone is baffled.
Chicago may be a crime ridden city but for most part, it’s black on black crime with whites mostly unscathed by it.
The police are probably baffled that she was on the L by herself. It is becoming abundantly clear that Smith and Wesson should be the first name in feminine protection.

Same thing has happened to my son.
When those troubled youths were done they sent one of their own back into the bus to finish my kid off.
My son was ready the second time around and the closer thug was dragged unconscious out the door of the bus feet first by his buddies.
My son throws a pretty good combination.
