Donald Trump steamrolling toward nomination despite negative ad blitz (60,000 TV ads attack Trump)

About 60,000 TV ads — roughly one-fifth of all ads aired in the Republican presidential primary — have been critical of Donald Trump in some fashion, according to a Center for Public Integrity review of data from Kantar Media/CMAG.

Despite the outpouring of hostility from his opponents, the bombastic billionaire businessman continues to roll toward the GOP presidential nomination, having swept five more states on Tuesday.

"I've had negative ads all throughout, and I've won races in a landslide," Trump said in his victory speech Tuesday night. “Most of these people who have been fighting me are gone."

This massive figure includes about 800 TV ads so far aired in Indiana, a state that holds its primary Tuesday and has emerged as the next major battleground between Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, Trump’s chief adversary.

The bulk of these ads aired after Trump already solidified his front-runner status. Now, Trump continues to surge. To date, he’s earned more than 950 delegates, according to the Associated Press. That’s less than 300 short of the 1,237 he needs to clinch the GOP nomination — and avoid a contested Republican National Convention in July.

Amid the contentious primary, one presidential contender — more than any other candidate, including Republicans — has attacked Trump in campaign ads: Democrat Hillary Clinton.

To date, Clinton has sponsored nearly 8,000 ads that criticize Trump, including dozens of Spanish-language ads that aired as recently as this week in Connecticut and Pennsylvania, which both conducted primaries on Tuesday.

This is why Trump will win in November:

The Donald Trump Phenomenon
http://www.jeffhead.com/Trump-Phenom.htm

The GOP establishment does not get it...but fears it.

The democrat establishment does not get it...but fears it.

The MSM does not get it...but fears it.

And despite all of their efforts, they have not been able to blunt it.

For trump to have already gotten over 10 million votes in a GOP Primary that started with 17 candidates tells us that these things are true.

For many reasons these ads dont pack the punch like they use to. Many people are immune to their message and they dont watch TV like they use to.

None of which have an effect.

All those hundreds of millions flushed down the toilet.

Bad-mouthing Trump hasn’t upended his front-runner status.

When will they learn?

Well it sure seems to be demonstrating Donald’s adproofness.

Whether we’ll like a Donald presidency, nobody knows yet. But he’s doing it like a boss.

Negative ads can only tear down the other guy. It doesn’t say anything positive about the candidate running them against his opponent.

Do the #NeverTrumpers have a positive message to bring to the table? None that I can see.

Its all over including the shouting.

I dunno, maybe even his enemies will embrace him after failing to shoot him down.

Also the kinds of issues they raise are mostly besides the point. This is like a kind of praise by faint damnation.

The mainstream media apparently does not "get" that people do not like them either.

When they screech about President Trump placing a temporary moratorium on Muslims entering the country all willy-nilly, that is when Donald Trump should ask the media WHY they are so seemingly eager for tragedies like the Boston Marathon Bombing and San Bernardino shootings to return? Both of those were caused by so-called "refugees" here for a better life.

Donald Trump has the big microphone to say the things that NORMAL people wish they could say and be heard. Most people simply wish to go about their day, make some money, and have a little extra time/money to be with family and friends. We don't wish to deal with the insanity of crazy radicalized Islamic jihadists like overseas.

Go Donald Trump! Defeat Hillary Clinton!

Imagine if the GOP establishment took the money wasted on the Bush/Rubio campaigns and the attack ads against Donald Trump and instead used the money to support conservative House and Senate candidates?
