Fox News contributor Tucker Carlson appeared on Americas Newsroom on Wednesday to speak to host Martha MacCallum about what would happen if as even House Speaker Paul Ryan is refusing to rule out the Republican Party does not accept Donald Trump as its nominee this summer in Cleveland.
Carlson singled out RedState for attacking Trumps voters as diseased and probably on Oxycontin or secretly liberal, but insisted that such talk is inherently counterproductive.
He is on track to receive more votes than any Republican nominee ever, Carlson began. Hes already surpassed Mitt Romneys number in 2012.
He was quick to note that that doesnt mean that hell be a great president it does mean that he is the choice of Republican voters and give them the finger at your peril.
Carlson who became famous in part for being the hyper-literate bow-tie aficionado on CNNs Crossfire said that the party must pay attention to the people and not to the opinions of donors and think-tank intellectuals.
The core of his campaign is his economic message Im gonna bring jobs back and its baffling to me why the Republican establishment in Washington doesnt understand that, he said.

Oh, the GOPe understands. They just don’t care.
They want their cheap labor express, the country be damned.
GOPe FULLY SUPPORTED IRS harassment of Tea Party groups.
THEY SUPPORTED IT.
Don’t point that finger at us,we’ll cut it off.
They sure did.
It’s already too late for them.
Ha! My elderly mom does the same thing.
Tucker is right in this case. I recall some years ago, Greta Van S. was really, really angry at something Tucker had written in an article, I think it had to do with how one views women. I don’t recall, but she openly called him ‘low class’ while on the air. It was as though he were on Judge Judy for a minute or two. Tucker didn’t seem to give a hoot.
I do the same thing with the email spam polls they send me about how I have to support the GOPe to stop Hillary and what steps they should take to get rid of Hillary. After the typical list of things (which they previously promised to do but never did), there is a block for “other (describe).” I always check the box and tell them to go screw themselves.
After 5 or 6 of those email polls I stopped getting them.
The ESTABLISHMENT! There's the answer!
Yes they did. And I am so glad u said that. It dawned on me just a month ago that John McCain supported IRS going after the Tea Party people. These “leaders” care only about their kingdoms. Very selfish people. They would never know how to interact with true Americans.
There are some very good people out here in every county in every state in America, and the Establishment & elites feel very uncomfortable with us. They KNOW that they have no depth compared to us. We are much superior to them and they feel little. We are real. They treat us like dirt, and have the power to do it. They misuse their power. They are pitiful people, and I give thanks everyday that I am not like them.
The GOPe brought us NAFTA,CAFTA and TPP.. They don’t give a chit about losing jobs to other countries. You are out of work. They don’t care.
The bullcrap out of RedState has been just low-brow garbage for the past 10 months. They used to be a champion of up and coming superstars, but not they are in the gutter. I’ve gradually become more and more against the Trump campaign as the year went on, but they are still wayyyy over the top. Just stupid stuff day in and day out. At least Beck, for all is his issues, can make a coherent case on why not Trump. He’s also off the rails in other ways, but he can make the case. RedState is just gotten silly.
Red State articles always got more comments here than there. They are legends in their own minds, IMO.
Don’t worry, Trumplestiltskin will prevail. Politics gives us strange bedfellows.
Speaking of McCain where is his daughter I haven’t seen her on Fox in awhile
Oh look, another silly name - for what reason?
Tucker, the little man who believes he’s big. He’s not, he’s a lightweight in every regard.
