He never said collusion in politics wasn’t legal - he said it wasn’t legal in other industries. Brilliantly pointing out the corruption in politics and distancing himself from it.
It’s better to actually read the article than have a knee-jerk tantrum.

Agreed Sam, but depending on the chemistry, it could happen that Joe is put forward as a VP pick. He would be great on Homeland Security or even as a “Build The Wall Czar.”
