Obama's amazing THREAT to Britain: UK would be at the 'back of the queue' after Brexit

The US President warned the UK would be “at the back of the queue” for a trade deal with America if it quit Brussels.

But his threat provoked outrage and scorn from pro-Brexit campaigners, who dismissed it as yet another scaremongering ploy from the pro-EU lobby.

Mr Obama, who will no longer be in office when decisions on a trade deal are made, delivered a lecture to the British people on why he thinks it is in the UK’s, America’s and the world’s best interests for Britain to vote to stay in the EU on June 23.

He weighed into the debate despite being warned by a host of anti-EU campaigners to “butt out” of our referendum battle.

He said there could be a US-UK trade agreement “down the line” but warned: “It’s not going to happen any time soon, because our focus is on negotiating with a big bloc, the EU. The UK is going to be in the back of the queue.”

The claim, made during a joint news conference with David Cameron, angered Leave campaigners.

Tory Justice Minister Dominic Raab said Mr Obama had made “a pretty cynical intervention”.

He added: “We’ve got a lame duck president doing an old friend a favour for purely political reasons – and taking a few unnecessary risks, being a bit irresponsible with the special relationship between our two countries.

“What is good for US politicians is not necessarily good for the British people. The US would not dream of opening its border with Mexico, so it is hypocritical for President Obama to insist that we do the same with Europe.”

Where has this guy been?

The UK should try to take over the EU. By leaving they are surrendering Europe to Germany. The UK will become an insignificant little island and will probably break apart with Scotland getting out, etc.

He certainly isn’t acting like a man who will be forced out of office in about 9 months, is he?

By leaving, the UK is saving itself from the disaster that is befalling the EU and Germany.

The UK has its own serious problem with the muslim invasion. It doesn't need to be bound at the hip with the EU and the EU's unwillingness to face reality about islam and border problems.

When one looks at Obama from the POV of his being a jihadi, everything he does vis-a-vis the muslim world makes complete sense.

He will head the UN watch and see. How an inexperienced street activist with a fraudulent college education who was born in kenya is telling the British empire what it needs to do

“By leaving, the UK is saving itself from the disaster that is befalling the EU and Germany.”

We’ll see. The Germans are no fools. They haven’t been hit by any terrorist attacks so far.

Scotland will choose the EU over the UK and will import all the muslims it wants in the UK’s backyard.

Won’t this help both Donald and the Brexit folks? They’ll claim they’ll make better deals that respect the sovereignty and independence of both Britain and the US, without selling out to stupid people and people who don’t respect the proud traditions of the US and Britain.

They had the tube attacks, airport attack, and the hit&run and decapitation of one of their soldiers.

The Germans are no fools.

But Merkel is. And she is putting her love of the open borders EU (and even Turkey) above her own citizens.

There are only 3 nations in the World that Jugears O. would have the nerve to threaten; our friends Great Britain, Greenland and Belieze. The rest of them would kick him so hard that there would be something between those fly swatters on the side of his head.

This makes it more likely the UK will vote to leave the EU, if only to spite the Muzzie Marxist Homo Kenyan Usurper. Same thing Hussein is doing for gun sales in the U.S.

Right. But no attacks in Germany.

The extremists are all in the UK already. Leaving the EU won’t do them any good.

Churchill clarified his thoughts on Britain’s role within a united Europe a month later, in January 1941. According to John Colville, the Prime Minister told him at Ditchley, Churchill’s grand weekend retreat near Oxford, that “there must be a united Europe and that he believed that it should be built by the English; if the Russians built it, there would be communism and squalor; if the Germans built it, there would be tyranny and brute force.” …

Churchill’s Cold War: The Politics of Personal Diplomacy by Klaus Larres, 2002, p. 63
One thing Obama said back in 2009 was that he was “extraordinarily impressed” by the EU’s leadership. His return of the Churchill bust shows where he falls on this equation.
