The Republican Party has a simple choice—support Trump and fight for victory in November or oppose him and destroy the party permanently.
This is not rocket science.
That’s inaccurate
I believe about . 03% voted
“dont bother whining when Clinton finishes the destruction of this country that was started by Obama.”
You were given fair warning not to attempt to run an illegal candidate and Canadian citizen for POTUS, so now you have to face the consequences of your actions.
Ted got 15%.
It should be clear to everyone that Ted would do horrible in swing states — FL, OH, MI, PA, etc. Ted is Hillary’s easiest path to victory.
Have to agree with Pat on this one. He’s been on the money a lot lately.
One thing I find interesting is Trump is campaigning on a very similar platform as Buchanan in ‘92. Similar, not identical.
Rigged!
Ted’s delegates can switch to Trump on the second or third ballot
Maybe even on the first ballot!
Yeah, but Rush Limbaugh says all is well and you don’t understand how the process works.
Bitter much? Trump very well may lose to Hilary. But watching Ted in action and how much people that formerly were open to him and now despise him — I’m sure that Ted would lose to Hilary too — probably by a larger amount.
What does it say about, Ted — the supposedly brilliant, supposedly “true” conservative — that he can’t beat the person you call the “orange buffoon”.
Ted reeks of sleaze — that’s why he’s losing. That’s my theory.
Do you need those states to win the Presidency? Do the Cruzbergers know that? I'm sure they would come to their senses if someone told them. /s
He was on fire last night in Maryland
Can tell he is just getting started on crooked Hillary
In fact aren’t Bernie’s supporters starting to use the same phrase “ crooked Hillary”?
Where those millions of voters going to go when the Bern gets extinguished? Maybe to the guy taking on crooked hillary
not only did trump draw maximum crowds I read that people were lined up along 15 miles of highway just to see him drive by
That is based simply on the proportional versus winner-take-all decisions by individual states, but they are the result of millions of voters casting their ballots.
That is not what the meaning of the word ‘rigged’ is driving at. A ‘rigged’ process would be one in which a system is in place that permits a pre-determined outcome to take place at the behest of a cabal of brokers.
For example, it is obvious to me that the democratic primary is rigged, even though it is by the rules that there are about 600 super-delegates. The system in place permits a pre-determined outcome to take place at the behest of a cabal of brokers.
Is there such a system in place in the Republican Party?
In a football game, if a team scores a winning touchdown with a huge reception at the buzzer, and the referees can confer and say that they have created a new rule that says touchdowns in the last 5 seconds of a game are disallowed if the scoring team scores through the air instead of on the ground, then all hell would break loose. “It’s rigged” we’d say, “if last second rules can be made.”
But what if they said the receiver was out of bounds when he really wasn’t, or what if they said the ball hadn’t crossed the plane of the goal when it really had? The rules say that it’s the referee’s call, so that settles it.
Can that be a rigged result? Sure.
Some kind of manipulation of rules can be seen as rigged, EVEN THOUGH the rules really were in place.
So, have rules been manipulated beyond their INTENT?
Or, are rules in place that enable the results to be manipulated?
It remains to be seen.
Cruzlim talking points are dumb.
ditto!
Pat makes some great points here
Cruz can supposedly beat Hillary, but can’t beat Trump? I’m trying to figure out the logic that the guy fewer want in the primary will be wanted more in the general??
Trump owns FL. Nobody else on the GOP does. People have forgotten 2000 it seems
Trump is the nominee, the sooner Reince Prius gets Kasich and Cruz out the better - it’s time to unite and focus on Hillary. The votes are in, Cruz and Kasich need to face reality and stop hurting the cause.
Well, yeah, but he was going to stop the oceans from rising.
