Pope Francis to Migrants: ‘Forgive Our Closed-mindedness and Indifference’
Breitbart ^ | 20 Apr 2016 | Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D.

On behalf of modern society, Pope Francis begged the forgiveness of migrants and refugees Tuesday, asking them to forgive our “closed-mindedness and indifference” and insisting that each migrant has “the face of God.”

“Too often you have not been welcomed,” Francis said. “Forgive the closed-mindedness and indifference of our societies, which fear the change of lifestyle and mentality that your presence requires.”

The Pope addressed these words to migrants as part of a recorded video message in which he praised the work of the Jesuits who run the Centro Astalli, the Italian headquarters of the Jesuit Refugee Service. The message was released on April 19 in commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the center.

I am a devout Catholic and I am very active in my parish.

I am convinced that Pope Francis is an evil man. I am convinced he hates the good Catholics who provide for their families, teach their children to have faith in God and who keep the Catholic Church going.

These are the only people Pope Francis likes:

1. Communists who have persecuted Catholics and deny their people any personal freedom. 2. Homosexuals. 3. Jihadists who are committing genocide against Christians. 4. Corrupt and dishonest politicians.

He’s either evil or not so bright or both.

I am begining to wonder what Pope Francis reaction is going to be if it happens that the Donald wins the White House. It will be interesting.

Lord, please forgive some of the thoughts that go through my head every time I hear this “Pope” open his mouth.

The poor you will have with you always. But worship the Lord and be perfect as the Lord is perfect, while there’s still time, before darkness falls.

Francis is either stupid or he is an Islamist. Were he the former he would not have become a cardinal, a bishop minimally perhaps, but not a cardinal.

I have been on a tour of the Vatican. Seems to me they have a lot of room and fairly decent accommodations for a number of people, if they were interested in housing them.

This confirms it.

He’s a democrat.

Now we have two of them running around the world apologizing for other people.

You usually have to go to a college campus to find this much naivety combined with this much self-satisfied contempt for the West. The difference is that reality will usually slap some sense into college students as they grow up. The pope has apparently managed to evade that reality.

For real. I don’t see him opening up Vatican City.

Charity begins at home. YOUR home Pope.

I’d love to know what he would say if millions of real Protestants were flooding Europe or entering the U.S.

I can understand mercy for the poor. I can't understand turning a blind eye towards an invasion of muslims, who rape and pillage as they make their way through Europe.

Nope,he's a Marxist...which is basically the same as being a jihadi.

fear the change of lifestyle

Creeping Sharia, eventual forced conversion to Islam--yeah, I guess some "closed-minded" people might fear that.

And in the shadows, some jihadis are licking their lips, and thinking “Sucker!”

I’m not a big one for prophecy but it gives me pause to wonder if Francis is one of the things prophecized to happen near the end.
