I was a huge fan of MASH. Don’t remember that one. I’ll look it up though. I can only imagine what the press would do if this was aired. I doubt it’s in the reruns.

Agreed, and my point was that I could just see how students(and even some professors) at that campus and many others would pounce on that scene as racist and unfair stereotyping of blacks, completely failing to recognize or respect the context that that scene was done in. I’ve seen it in reruns in basically its original format, but I also know a number of those episodes made during the McLean Stevenson-Wayne Rogers-Larry Linville era of the show (particularly during the very good old days of Spearchucker, Ugly John, and Ho Jon) have been edited or cut over the years in reruns packages to make room for ad space or even for censorship purposes.
