I don’t see anyone provoking Trump with insults. Rove disagrees with Trump and spouts his “analysis” to try and make a case for not supporting Trump, but I have not heard him resort to insults, inuendo, or smears. Trump should engage Rove logically rather than lowering himself to insults.
