Howdy, Kathy.
Yes, Baby had a great time rolling along the highway to the cruise-in after being cooped up in the garage all winter. LOL
It was a good time but it was HOT! We aren’t used to 80 degrees and though there was a nice wind blowing at the farm, there wasn’t a hint of a breeze where the cruise-in was held. We left at 4:30 and a lot of people were already gone by then. But we all had fun. Nice to see folks we hadn’t seen in a while.
We came home, hosed off, fed the kittehs, then went back out to our hangout for some live music. A 17 yr. old young man who plays classic rock, blues, a little country, and a few originals. We’d heard him once before and were excited to get to hear him again.
Loooooong day but a good one.
Did you get any of this weekend’s clean-up goals accomplished?
He needs his beauty rest so he’s rested and ready to defend against all intruders. d:o)
None finished, but progress in all.
Lot of Mom calls, but I kept my cool. LOL!
Tomorrow she wants to go to Freddy’s a long for flowers. For years she has said May 1st, but bringing up that that is 2 weeks away falls on deaf ears. So we go tomorrow and see. Maybe they have flowers now.
Glad you and Baby enjoyed your day....but 80! Yikes!
Thanks, unique, for the logo.
Well, progress in all is better than nothing done at all.
How you manage to keep your cool is beyond me. LOL! You have MUCH more patience than I do. I have no patience, which poor Aunt Clara found out a few times.
Even if the store doesn’t have flowers tomorrow, it’ll be a break in your mom’s routine to get out and about for a bit. At least her mind is still focused on flowers. She isn’t forgetting everything yet.
Yikes is right! We seem to have gone from winter to summer overnight. Everyone’s blood is still winter-thick and the hot day was rough on all of us. LOL! It’s going to be in the upper 70s to low 80s the next week. We might have to turn the A/C on. We hoped for a nice stretch of low 70s so we could enjoy having windows open for a while.
Oh well, we’re enjoying everything being green again so I won’t complain. :-)
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How's it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy. How’s it going?
BTTT
The lawn folks will be here sometime this coming week to do spring cleanup, thatching, and lime and all that stuff. It will get really green pretty fast.
While we are out, I think I’ll make her sit thru the car wash. LOL!
It sounds like you’re as ready for Spring and all the greenery and colors as we’ve been.
Seeing flowers come up and bloom is what I enjoy. Our daffodils are through now and I noticed the irises my dad sent a couple of years ago have bud stems up now. There are a lot of others around the yards that Hubby’s mom and aunts planted that will bloom a little later. Then there are loads of daylilies all over the place as well as other types of flowers. Those splashes of color just make this old farm so pretty.
Spring is an uplifting time of year and makes the spirits soar.
Couldn’t help but laugh about the car wash tomorrow. I gather you’re talking about one that you ride through, with all those spinning brushes? Those things are freaky. That ought to get your mom’s blood stirring. LOL!
E.....#50!!
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Happy hunting to you and Bo.
A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours, radu.
Yes...the one with all the brushes. d:o)
Funny...she was just mentioning daffodils today.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep all of us free and safe.
Thanks, unique, for the pastries.
Coffee is always on........
How about a donut?
Cookies?
Veggies?
