GOPe/Cruz to voters:

LET THEM EAT CAKE!

and they wonder why Cruz is tanking and running out of money...

Your reading comprehension is sorely lacking. Mr. Trump ignored Colorado. Look at my thumb, gee you're dumb.

Then you can’t read anything longer than a sentence. A pity. You would have learned something.

Wow, over 50 words of clueless, meaningless response.

Sort of like a Cruz speech.

And no one said anything about either. But if there is one lesson of history, it is when local areas/states/private businesses do NOT police themselves, governments will.

CO (and Cruz) are clearly on the wrong side of this. Neither has done a thing to get on the right side.

You’re talking like a Pharisee about “rules.” No, the key thing is that the rules ALWAYS embody the perception of fairness and above all the will of the people. When they don’t, no matter how properly formed, they will be thrown out.

Perception is reality, and the perception is that CO was “rigged.” Fix the perception, don’t invoke rules.

No, you are wrong. Those three issues are ALL related to the incestuous relationship between the two wings of the Uniparty. There is a good reason for Trump and Cruz being on top, and driving out the RINOs - they are insurgent candidates whose voters despise the GOPe. They (rightly, IMHO) view the GOPe as the problem, as the enemy, for having consistently taken our money and votes based on intentional lies (such as, “We will stop Obama’s irresponsible spending”). They violated our trust, they viewed the Tea Party as a bigger enemy than Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the Leftists destroying our country. THEY are the primary enemy, the enemy within.

The issues you cite will get resolved well ONLY if there is an actual opposition party, which can only happen if the GOPe is wiped out or significantly weakened.

Excellent analysis. Trump is playing three-dimensional chess, while everyone else is still playing tiddlywinks. He is looking at the big picture, which is the attitude of the American public. He has looked at Colorado like a businessman: he was willing to sacrifice a few delegates in order to change attitudes about Cruz. This entire Colorado incident has made Cruz look like part of the establishment in the minds of the public.

Please check out my post number 30, which is a response to post number 10.

CO is nothing more than a shiny object to distract LIVs until Mr. Trump laps the field in the northeast primaries. Good politics by the Trump team and his media followers.

[In other words, it was just as rigged as Trump delegates claimed. Several links added starting at post 56 to help connect the dots.]

Well written opinion-piece.

But in this case there was false claim. Colorado was rigged, and the party leaders there were rabidly and openly anti-Trump.

Cruz walked into a an open sewer hole on this one. His supporters cheered him just before he fell with arms flailing.

One heartfelt posting examining the mood of the electorate, the sentiments of voters concerned about the party’s manipulation of process for selection for a leadership position-— contrasted with one consistent voice which seemingly posts dozens of Cruz slanted articles; and, which unfortunately draw vehement #nevertrump harangues resulting in polarized discussions???

Colorado’s fiasco looks far less like Trump whining than the scuttle of roaches heading for cover when they get exposed.

The key thing to remember is that in the United States, political parties have no requirement to be democratic. They can and do make their own rules about the process of selecting a presidential candidate.

What it does do is expose the true motives of the ruling class, because the people don't differentiate the primary vote from the Constitutional office vote when they see their "vote" taken away from them.

Even though primary voting is often a sham, the reputational damage to the party is enormous when they play fast and loose with the process.

There are two courses of action. One, grass roots action to take back control of the Republican Party. Two, abandonment of GOP and starting a new political party with values and rules that are to our liking. The 2020 presidential election cycle starts November 9th. 2016.
