if he’s good enough for Kovac, he’s good enough for me!! :)

he needs to do a LOT of touring with the family. it helps him

Major faux pas, two kids not being eligible to vote.

Thank God the masses only read headlines and it wasn’t one of them :)

Ivanka said she’s registered independent, and in NY you have to switch about a year ahead of time to vote in the primary. By the time she knew her dad was running it was too late, but she’ll be voting for him in November.

The rat primary for NYC mayor is the only competitive primary. Imagine if they got someone like Weiner instead of DeBlasio, much more tolerable.

[New York State has one of the most unforgiving rules in the country when it comes to eligibility for voting in party primaries. Anyone who wants to vote in the 2013 Democratic mayoral primary — and all of the anticipated major candidates are Democrats — but is not affiliated with a party (like Mr. Bloomberg), or wants to switch parties (as Mr. Bloomberg once did), must take action almost a year before the actual vote.

The law is rooted in the notion that closed primaries should not be raided, at the last minute, by outsiders who may want to pick, say, a weaker candidate to run against their preferred choice in a general election. And it is a law that has survived numerous court challenges, including a case from the 1970s that was upheld by the United States Supreme Court.] — http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/05/nyregion/2013-new-york-primary-voting-requires-any-party-changes-by-oct-12.html

For the 2016 Primary you would have needed to change party registration before October 9th, 2015.

His children not being registered to vote just shows they aren't being groomed for politics like the other children from political families, Kennedys' Clintons' and Bushs. etc

They actually live in the real world where people earn their money.

In light of post #8 I await you retraction of your accusation that what Ivanka said was a “flat out lie”, and will endeavor to not shoot your mouth off before you know the facts.

Oh wait, you’re a Cruzor Loser, facts don’t matter, it’s OK to say anything as long as it helps Lyin’ Ted.

Make that First Families, plural...several times.

I’m fairly certain that the Donald is a lot of things, but classy is not one that immediately springs to mind.

That’s for new registration, not party changes. From your source,

“Change of Party Enrollment

The voter registration form should be used to change your party enrollment from one party to another or to enroll for the first time in a party. A change of enrollment received no later than 25 days before the general election shall be deposited in a sealed enrollment box and opened the first Tuesday following that general election and entered in the voter’s registration record.”

In other words you have to change your party registration 25 days before the previous general election. Otherwise your change of party does not take effect until after the next general election.
