“Get a pizza in 3 mins for 5 bucks”

Seems I have seen a professional shot video by the manufacture of those Pizza machines, I think they even have one model that boxes the Pizza to go. Not sure how good the Pizza is, usually a good crust is yeast based and goes through one if not two proof cycles. Maybe that is a USA thing?

These people can’t take a simple order correctly, nor can they put a burger patty in the center of the sandwich buns, yet they think they’re worth $15?

As Thomas Sowell points out in his excellent “Basic Economics: A Citizens Guide to The Economy”, those jobs should only serve as a gateway into the workforce, not a career.

Which is why the “Living Wage” is such a blindingly idiotic concept.

We all know how all of this is going to turn out. But as DonaldC asked in his post about the teaching of economics in school...the answer to tha is that Bernie Sanders is a viable presidential candidate. If they are teaching it, it is the Soviet model of Economics.

I always love the story about Milton Friedman (it’s probably apocryphal) when he went to China and saw hundreds of manual laborers digging trenches. When he asked why they were doing that instead of using a bulldozer, the Chinese bureaucrats replied that they did it so people would have jobs.
