To preface, no, I am not in support of the students. No, it was not sarcasm. It was only an explanation of a principle of opposing an authority. If you really intend to oppose authority, then go full bore...or go home.
Same with the half-assed Oregon protesters. If they really intended to oppose the FBI, they should have gone full bore very early on and died in the effort and become martyrs. Otherwise, go home. If the ISIS freaks can die for a worthless cause, why can't honorable people die for a worthy one?
Thanks, Albion Wilde. It’s about time that they learn higher education is a choice not a right.
Excellent. Thanks for posting.
This is the way grown-ups handle spoiled, indulged self-centered children. Bravo to Ohio State. OH...IO.
Caving to the Africans because this was a planned attack on Mizzou and directions came from the Ferguson thieves and arsonists. Politicians in Illinois also supported the Black LIES Matter members that participated to cause financial stress at Mizzou. Illinois stood to gain since so many Mizzou students originate from Chicago and the rest of the state.
Oh it’s going to be delicious to see how Kandy-ass Kasich handles this one.
He’s already gone all in (or on) for penises in girls’ bathrooms and bathrooms.
No doubt this will offend him to his doughy little core.
He is creepy smarmy. Ew.
And if there's anything we need to do in life, it's to protect our children. So we've got to sort of stick our nose into other people's business. You know, Anderson, it's sort of funny, because I was with -- I say all these people who were important, you know, whether they're doctors or lawyers or whether they're nurses or -- you know, and I say one of the most important people you can find in the school is the janitor, because -- or the lunch lady because those are the people that kids feel safe talking to and revealing their deepest, darkest kind of fears. This is a big, big deal and a big problem, and we've got to look out for our kids, even when they are not our kids. They're all our kids, right? All of them.
Creepy is right. Frickin' weirdo.
He is so deep into leftthink — yeah, famlies are places of patriarchal domination, so scary for kids that they can’t talk to their own parents or grandparents, they’ve got to talk to someone at the government SCHOOL, even the lunch lady is more qualified to “help” them than their own parents, who are probably religious (after all, they didn’t abort) and won’t accept their kid’s gender fluidity, blah blah blah.... it’s sickening and he is a huge phony.
No, it should not.
There are many universities that are just as good if not better than OSU.
Maryland, for example.
