Trump has stopped the delegate bleeding by hiring Manafort. Hannity was taken aback by Manafort's confidence that Trump gets 1237. Trump may have been caught off guard, but he sure reacts fast and solves the problem. Trump's genius is that he hires the best and then let's them do their jobs.

Notice that Manafort states that there will not be a second ballot at the convention. This at the 5:40 mark on the video!

I don’t think Trump’s problem has been solved yet. Just hiring one of Roger Stone’s partners doesn’t solve the problem. Trump is still bleeding delegates and I don’t think he has won anything in April, or maybe for a month.

Cruz and his GOPee masters FAIL to realize that Donald is fit as a fiddle and ready to cross the Rubicon into Cleveland.

And BTW, even the mighty Caesar hesitated a moment when he reached the edge of the Rubicon.

I read the other day that in the 1980 GOP race between GHW Bush, Howard Baker and Ronald Reagan it was Paul Manafort behind the scenes who brought the nomination to Ronald Reagan whom he was working for. This guy is the best at what he does and has been under the radar mostly since his hiring. But Trump finds the best and hires them.
A telling interview the other day somebody was interviewing Manafort and talked about the campaign and who reports to whom. The interviewer says do they report to you? He said no for campaign stuff they report to Mr Landowski(campaign manager), but who do you report to the interviewer asked? “I report directly to Mr Trump”! Shazam we have ourselves a winner!

Manafort has a big job ahead of him - getting a ground game together at this late date. Manafort is accusing Cruz of doing “back room deals”- this from the king of back room deals- a sleazy hired gun- I had to laugh.

“Manafort is accusing Cruz of doing “back room deals”- this from the king of back room deals- a sleazy hired gun- I had to laugh.”

Indeed.

As I’ve pointed out before: Neil Bush=bad but Paul Manfort=good.

That is, if one is a rabid hater of Ted Cruz.

To the rest of humanity that’s called “hypocrisy”.

Interesting, Manafort didn't state Trump would "win" but said he would "do well," in the upcoming NY, PA, and other No. East contests coming up.

Wonder what he knows behind the scenes.

Amazing. And the GOPe is fighting tooth and nail to kill this American people driven support, for their own individual self preservation and enrichment.

History will not be kind to y’all.

I agree Trump has not solved the basic problem yet which is the GOPe, Uniparty and media working to keep an outsider from becoming President. Reagan is the only President since the 1800’s to have accomplished that feat.

TRump has not won a primary since his blowout win in Arizona. Of course, there has only been one primary in the last three weeks and that was Cruz’s big win in Wisconsin. That will change next Tuesday and the following week when he should run the table on New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.

The Trump campaign displays hypocrisy of the highest order by hiring Manafort to play catch-up at this late date. Manafort is connected to Roger Stone.

“As I’ve pointed out before: Neil Bush=bad but Paul Manfort=good.”

The problem with Neil Bush isn’t that he works for Ted Cruz. The problem with Neil Bush is that he is within the Bush family - a family of two horridly failed, disastrous presidents that wants to remain in control of the Republican establishment. Neil Bush is a direct link to abject Republican failure and the internationalism that has weakened the United States dramatically in the 21st Century.

When Cruz was backroom dealing furiously, his supporters were giddy. The big jab at Trump was that he didn’t know the rules.

So Trump hires a guy who worked for Reagan, and all of a sudden knowing the rules is hypocrisy.

Neil Bush is a crook. Did Manafort defraud investors in a savings and loan?

Jeff Roe is the biggest sleaze of all. No doubt Cruz supporters we’re shocked and dismayed when Cruz hired a dirty trickster to run his campaign.

It is important to really understand what is going on, whether or not you think it is “delegate stealing” or cheating:

NONE OF THIS MATTERS ON THE FIRST BALLOT. The delegates are locked into voting for whom they were elected to vote for.

So, no, this doesn’t get to a point that St. Ted’s little tricksies will play a part.

Actually, Manafort did solve it. Win on round one.

That’s what Trump’s strat has been from day one, knowing that St. Ted and the tricksie brigade at the GOP would manage to steal it if it goes past one round.

I’ve run the numbers. I had Trump, with very conservative splits in OR, WA, WA, and CA, at 1170. But I did NOT allocate IN because of a lack of polls, or PA. Those two states pretty much put him over 1237.
