Hey LUV, did you by any chance catch this activity this afternoon? I had a few minutes before I needed to head out so sat down to check on the owls. Not two minutes after pulling up the site, this happened ........

......... and I almost fell out of my chair in excitement. LOL

I’ve been keeping as close an eye as possible, especially at night, because I knew it was time for that first branching. Since I overdid it Sun. night rubbing on baby, I did NOTHING yesterday but sit here and watch. Couldn’t move, I hurt so bad.
I was gone most of this afternoon, then had those few minutes to sit before heading out for the party and BAM! It happened. The funny thing was Windy never noticed. Too busy playing with a feather.

They’re sleeping now. They had an active afternoon and are gearing up for more activity later tonight. They were bouncing around the nest a lot last night.

They were wild last night! LOL! The way Stormy was acting, I KNEW it just had to be soon. Tonight I’m getting a blank picture, but I had one earlier, so maybe it’s just me some how.

Anyway, you’ve been so dedicated to watching, I’m glad you got to see it happen.

The babies are nearly grown.Wah!

Gotta rest now...work tomorrow! See ya next time! :)

The regular Cam 1 is working but none of the others are. Pooey! I wanted to roll back on DVR 1 to see what I missed while I was out tonight. Oh well.

Work tomorrow. Bummer. Good night and sleep well. Hope the day goes smoothly. Maybe there’ll be new doo-dahs to try on? :-)

Howdy, Kathy. Bunch of homework tonight or did the day go smoothly enough you don’t have any? Two good weeks in a row would be nice!

LOTS of homework, but it’s going fairly well...I worked a couple really hard ones before I came home. Many, many corrections to a new contract. So I decided to bring the rest home and hope they go easily.

The program loads REALLY slowly. so I thought I’d pop in between loadings.

Bummer! Hopefully the new contract will get themselves in gear and learn how to put their stuff together correctly for y’all SOON.

At least you get little breaks here and there while loading.

HR put the rates in a week early. So I’m having to try to find out what changed and then fix it by changing it back to before the change. I think they will all straighten out next week.

Well, that just sounds like all kinds of fun. NOT!
Hope it doesn’t turn out to be as big a pain as it sounds.

Guess two smooth weeks in a row was too much to hope for, huh? LOL

Two groups of worker folks....this week is security, and every post must be filled by someone. A lot of them work 7/12s and then have a week off. Many work one day here and one day there and 2 days over there, often at 3 different pay rates on their off weeks. And each contract has their own set of rates. RG1 on this contract might pay 15.00, but RG1 on that contract might pay 16.50.

The last week folks work differently...they are not security and can be sick a day or whatever....security cannot. They must find someone to cover every post for every hour needed.

Oh, this was security week. That explains it. That never seems to work out smoothly for you. They messed you up really badly not too long ago as I recall.

Yes they did...and it rolled to Billing and that prompted a chat with the head of Accounting who called an emergency Monday meeting. The heart of it all...whether you like the system or not, or it doesn’t work how you want...tough, use it and watch what you are doing. They had no choice....things have gotten better, but now a new contract that didn’t start real well.

I will fix what I can in the allotted time. We will see.

You can only do what you’re able with what they give you. If you aren’t able to straighten all their mess out, they’ll learn a lesson the hard way. Might straighten them up by the next time after they get complaints from people who weren’t paid what they were due!

Good morning to you! I hope your birthday’s a good one.

I haven’t figured out if you’re a VERY early riser or if you’re a night owl like me. LOL!

Well, today is going to be a normal day like always. It's Wednesday so that means a trip to Sonic Drive In for me.

Also we will hopefully go out to the lake later today. Bo found another turtle BTW.
