Why thank you I appreciate that. I do try and sometimes it’s very difficult when people are being obtuse, but they do come around sometimes. Even some of those uneducated types that Trump loves so much. Why I declare even they can get a little sense in them at times too.

Big difference between making a few million on Asian made neckties and Ford building 2 billion dollar automobile plants in Mexico. BTW Trump neckties are a minor seller at Amazon with 2 reviews. I doubt he sells very many. You can buy one at his hotels and gold course club houses.

The whole idea of Trump tariffs is to remove the incentive for everyone EVERYONE to manufacture in China and Mexico while Am4erican workers gets screwed out of jobs

Trump said that illegals (if not criminals) should get in line, not “touch base”...

BTW: That makes no sense. Show me one illegal that isn’t a criminal. That’s like saying show all the people in prison that haven’t been convicted of a crime should be set free.

They changed the rules to BIND the 17 statewide delegates to the state popular vote winner, because the RNC made all states do that. That’s also why Colorado cancelled their presidential poll, they didn’t want their delegates locked in. That only helps Trump, if he stays on top in Pennsylvania.

All of PA’s delegates used to be unbound. Reagan himself tried to court them in 1976 by picking a PA Senator as his V.P., but the PA guy was so liberal Mississippi went for Ford instead.

Now at least some will be bound to the statewide winner. So the national GOP changed the rules to make MORE delegates bound in all states, which only helps whoever is winning the popular vote, which has been Trump in most states.

Actually it’s tougher on Ford to stay here vice making a few neckties. All the stuff Ford does is getting more and more regulated by gov’t...so moving overseas makes a lot more sense for them. Add in the union demands and the new minimum wage increases that the union ties their rates too...Ford has to move to stay competitive.

Neckties...not so much. Buy some fabric sew them up sell them. Hell most of it can be fully automated anyway.

Why isn’t Trump crying about those changes? Oh wait...he only cries when he loses. He’s the biggest sore loserman since Gore...in fact I think Trump may be even worse.

Those PA "unbound" are bound for the first ballot.

No they're not. Never have been.

Obvious, it means not someone who is working illegally. It means engaged in what normal people understand as specifically illegal activity, I guess you need me to list some examples, to give you a clue.

gang membership
murdering
raping
child molesting
robbery
theft
burglary
drug relate offenses

If you think about it very carefully, it may come to you what is meant. Your comment:

“That’s like saying show all the people in prison that haven’t been convicted of a crime should be set free.”

Has no relevance to the discussion.

I found about 20 of those delegates on the list of who was elected in 2012. 2 of them were Cruzers, none were Trumpsters.

Yeah yeah, poison pill. Of course he also spoke about that and how great it was and not fair to make them leave, and he also voted for TPA and claimed McConnell lied to him.

He has many excuses he trots out. He co-wrote an op-ed to the WSJ with nasty Ryan about how great the Trans Pacific Trade agreement was. He was on board. He’s a globalist who lies about it.

Ah so coming to this country illegally isn’t illegal. Very interesting. Well if it’s not illegal to come here illegally why are we worried about them?

I’m with you on TPA...but the poison pill thing is dead on accurate. I remember exactly what he was doing and why. Attacking him over this is stupid and hurts our cause because we need these things to be done on capitol hill so we can win but they will think twice because asses will lie and say he really meant it.

Good thing Theme parks don’t use trumps logic...no one would wait in line and it would be a mad house. Why wait in line when you can cut to the front without penalty.

Why go back home if there is no penalty? Also illegal means illegal. I don’t understand how some try to say illegal aliens aren’t illegal and haven’t violated any laws.

Nice little obfuscation, but I actually hated Cruz for his stand on TPA. And I railed against it. And in fact it’s because of TPA that Cruz was not my #1 choice.

Not sure what that has to do with the illegal immigration poison pill everyone knows was a poison pill. See I can be honest and say he was wrong on TPA. But he was spot on for saving us against the gang of 8 that Trump funded! Why did trump give money to those trying to pass the amnesty bill.

We are not as low information as some think but I thank you for a polite, non condescending reply. If we aren’t careful on FR we may actually find each other likeable. :-)

I wonder why you twist words. I loathe word games.

Obviously coming into the country illegally is illegal. And obviously it has been tolerated for decades and now PROMOTED, AIDED AND ABETTED by the current administration, and pretty much by the previous, and Cruz’ VERY recent “change of heart” is not believable.

I won’t bother replying to you as playing tar baby with words is a waste of my time.

So Cruz was either fooled about TPA (meaning he’s stupid as a rock), or lying now. He sure thought it was a great thing. Show his dishonesty and/or stupidity.
