Howdy, PRO.
Did your day go as planned ...... get in some shooting time with your buddy?
LOL! Your post wasn’t there when I began typing mine. Looks like my question was answered about the shooting time.
Whew, I wish we’d warm up down here. Our high was only 53 and with the north wind blowing, it was NOT fun to be outside. Dipping into the 30s again tonight. Already there as a matter of fact.
Since Hubby was in AL all day for a car show, I went to Lowe’s to pick out flowers for the pots on the deck. Stopped by a good Italian restaurant on the way home for pizza to go and just finished eating half of it. Stuffed and relaxing now.
No shooting today, things changed, hopefully tomorrow.
Good evening, Pro...a visit to the chiropractor started the day, and now I’m trying to get all my stuff together for income taxes. And yes, I’ve been stalling.
Hope your weekend has been more fun. LOL!
A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
I hope you guys warm-up soon; is this a typical Spring?
What?
What?
What?
What?
Here’s hoping things work out tomorrow. It sounded like you were looking forward to it.
Hubby went with a buddy who has a couple of rare Fords. This was an all-Ford show at a dealership and Steve gets invited every year to show the cars. Hubby goes along to help haul and show them. There are several shows throughout the year they go to.
I need to start cleaning Baby up this week for a cruise-in next Saturday. It’s been under it’s car cover in the garage all winter and needs a little rubbing.
I don’t know that we have a typical Spring here. LOL! It’s different every year. But it being another el Nino year, this isn’t a surprise. It’s just frustrating.
I'm watching those durn silly owls again and not payin' attention.
There's a great outdoor range about 45 minutes away from here that I enjoy visiting when the weather warms. I want daughter to go there with me soon, as she gets freaked out with all the loud noises at the indoor facility we've been to.
“Baby” is a Chevy, right, or am I mis-remembering?
Now see, if you already had that piece of property in the country you’re looking forward to owning one day, you could just go out back and shoot. That’s what Hubby and his buddies do on occasion. It’s cool when some guys with muzzle-loaders show up.
Outdoor ranges seem like they’d be better. I’d be one who preferred it, like your daughter does. But when the weather’s rotten, indoors is just fine. Much better than not shooting at all. :-)
Howdy, radu! (((hugs)))
Hope you and kittehs have had a nice...warmer...day! :)
Here's an article about the cars Hubby and Steve were showing today.
He also owns a '64 Thunderbolt that he owned and raced when it was brand new. When he revs that engine, the ground shakes! They had that at AL today too.
