There is a lot of spiritual truth in the Ten Ways to be Perfectly Miserable.

How about this?

TEN WAYS TO BE TOTALLY HAPPY!

1. NEVER think about yourself.
2. NEVER talk about yourself.
3. Use the words “We” and “You” 100x more often than you use “I”.
4. Never expect appreciation for anything you do - do it for God, not for anything you get out of it - i.e., without self-interest.
5. Always trust others - at least initially; but be “wise as serpents, innocent as doves.” But NEVER “entrust” yourself to others - Jesus didn’t, “for He knew what was in the hearts of men.”
6. Take no account of wrongs suffered from others....I Corin. 13.
7. ALWAYS FORGIVE others, regardless of what others do to you; Jesus did on the cross, and commanded us to. A nun gang-raped for days in Africa forgave each of them even during the torture. Anything you suffer is far less than what Jesus or the nun did.

9. Do everything for God and others; God will take care of your needs - and you can’t get them met anyway. Matt. 6:33ff

Petunias on the deck. I can lay down a couple carpet scraps over the threshold and she can get out there in her wheelchair. And she can have pots alongside the driveway. I had ALL the weeds that come back every year pulled out.

I got up at 4:30 this morning and it was 60 degrees outside and 73 inside my place, WAY too warm! But I'm not complaining...much.

My day was just a little shopping before the crowds showed up and then laziness.
