Let’s put it this way — Ted Cruz is saying — if you do not share his values/policies on abortion, gay marriage, lower taxes, small government, strong defense, rule of law and desire to go back to our constitutional roots, then no, he is not your man.

No, what Cruz is saying is that if you don't agree with him on all of the above, that you're to be looked down on. He has no desire to change minds or bring voters his way, he just wants those who are on-board and wants to do away with those who disagree. Much like Obama . . . and Hitler.

RE: He has no desire to change minds or bring voters his way, he just wants those who are on-board and wants to do away with those who disagree.

I don’t know what you mean by “do away”.

He is trying to convince those who think like him to vote for him.

In fact, he issued an apology later after he made those remarks. It reads as follows:

_______________________________

I apologize to the millions of New Yorkers who have been let down by liberal politicians in that state. I apologize to the hard working men and women of the state of New York who have been denied jobs because Governor Cuomo won’t allow fracking. Even though there had been many high paying jobs just south in Pennsylvania, New Yorkers are denied the ability to provide for their families. I apologize to all the pro-life and pro-marriage and pro-second amendment New Yorkers who were told by Governor Cuomo that they have no place in New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are.

I apologize to all the small businesses who have been driven out of New York city by crushing taxes and regulations.

I apologize to the millions of unborn children, many African-American and Hispanic, whose lives have been taken by politicians who relentlessly promote abortion on demand with no limitations. I apologize to all of the African-American children who Mayor de Blasio tried to throw out of their charter schools that were providing a lifeline to the American Dream.

I apologize to the people of New York who are offended when the New York Daily News lambastes anyone who prays for victims of violence.

I apologize to the people of faith who are ridiculed and insulted by the New York media. And I apologize to all the cops and the firefighters and 9/11 heroes who had no choice but to stand and turn their backs on Mayor de Blasio, because Mayor de Blasio over and over again stands with the looters and criminals rather than the brave men and women of the law.

And to the millions of conservatives—working men and women in New York, with common sense values, trapped by the failures of your political leaders—I am glad to tell you, help us on the way. 2016, like 1980, will bring America back.

________________________________

Now, if you disagree with the above, you are FREE to vote for someone else.

RE: Much like Obama . . . and Hitler.

That’s ridiculous and you know it. I don;t even compare Obama with Hitler much as I dislike the man.

BTW, in terms of “looking down”, your above remark sounds like looking down on him as well. You are calling him akin to a genocidal maniac.

‘Big operations, like a presidential primary? Where putting together a competent organization, planning and ground game are key, and corralling and nailing down delegates is the primary objective?’

Deja vu!! When sane, level-headed people pointed out that Obama had no experience, Obots said, just look at his campaign! Yes, the campaign to be POTUS was actually cited as Obama’s big qualifier. Unbelievable.

No wonder Cruz bought so many copies of The Audacity to Win (a paean to Obama’s political ‘genius’) and gave one to every single staffer in his office. Birds of a feather!

What would be exciting is If YOU found Cruz out. He talks a grandiose game but has so few accomplishments he has to lie about them. It is classic Adult Child of Alcoholics behavior— and it’s sad and tragic to watch.

Leave it to a Cruz supporter to actually suggest/advocate ostrich behavior. Most people eschew the head-in-the-ground tact, but for Cruz supporters it must work pretty well—well enough to recommend, anyway.

Where you hit a snag is in arguing with a former Cruz supporter. Those of us who were all in for him, and then saw through his act, are very difficult to out-argue on the facts. Many Cruz supporters simply resort to ad hominem—it’s all they’ve got.

But little trumpers can’t seem to deal in substance ...they just type out childish insults.

Projection is a sad thing to watch.

You should catalog the insults you throw every day and count them up. You'd be really surprised at how much you do the very thing you complain so much about.

I can't remember the time I've seen you in even one substantive discussion. I've never seen it, and have doubts I will.

‘I’m all wore out.’

Defending an Adult Child of Alcoholics is exhausting. They are very high maintenance.

I’ve never been a fan of those who look down on others but are just fine with taking their money.

I just did my taxes. Am writing another big check this year to those who see themselves as overlords
