Paypal operates in 25 countries in which homosexuality is illegal. Why don’t they refuse to do business there?

BTW I was looking to buy something on eBay but changed my mind because they use paypal.
I’m going to email the seller now and tell him why I’m not buying.

Is there an alternative group beside your plastic?

I don’t know of an alternative group, besides my plastic, but I hear some people use gift cards for Amazon, etc., so as not to have to use their credit cards.

No powerful opposition to those laws in those countries. It’s not about the laws. It’s who PayPal offends.

I emailed a couple of sellers on eBay last night asking them if they would take something other than paypal. I’ve heard from one so far. He’d take a check or a credit card.
I don’t trust paypal. A few years ago I tried to set up an account and they wanted at least one credit card AND a bank account. LOL
No way I was going to give them my bank information. If you go on the internet and read reviews of paypal you’ll see hundreds of complaints from people who have been ripped off by them.
[I’m thinking I might just randomly email sellers on eBay asking them if they’d take another payment method - just to get them thinking about how bad paypal is.]

Thanks for the info. and it’s a great idea to tell sellers that you won’t use Paypal!
I don’t like Ebay either, because they have done some disgusting things, but I like the idea of telling all sellers that you don’t want Paypal.

Done with ebay years back as THEIR ANTI-2ND AMENDMENT RIGHTS policy prohibited individuals from selling high cap mags while they gladly took vendors' money for identical high cap mags advertisements on same page...they're all "a$$ Whole" liberal HYPOCRITS!

Is there something else that can be used on Ebay? Or if you cease using Paypal are you pretty much having to give up Ebay too?
