A proposal to stop the teardown of Louisiana’s Confederate monuments and step into an ongoing fight in New Orleans has failed to win support in the state Senate, blocked by Democratic lawmakers.

Sen. Beth Mizell, a Republican who lives 70 miles north of New Orleans, sought to create a state commission to sign off on monument removals. She told senators: “History is bigger than a single community or the mood of a moment.”

The argument failed to sway Democrats on the committee, all of whom are black.

In bourgeois society, therefore, the past controls the present; in Communist society, the present controls the past.
Doesn’t Senator Mizell know that you cannot go against the Holy Manifesto?

And how racist of the AP to point out the race of the Democratic lawmakers in question.

The modern PC American leftists and the quisling Republicans are like the Taliban or Nazis or ISIL. Burn those books. Shut up those who disagree. Destroy those Churches and monuments.

These are the same type of City Officials that tell a home owner that they may not alter their private property in any way without the city’s permission if it is considered historical.

These were the city officials who got out of Dodge when Katrina hit. My bet is each one of them made out like bandits and got paid first.
