JACKSON, Miss. — The Latest on Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant signing a bill law that allows religious groups and some private employers to refuse service to gay couples based on religious beliefs (all times local):

New York's governor has banned nonessential state-funded travel to Mississippi after that state's governor signed a law allowing religious groups and some businesses to refuse service to gay couples.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the ban Tuesday, the same day Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant signed the measure, which supporters say will protect those who have religious objections to same-sex marriage.

Last week Cuomo, a Democrat, banned state-funded travel to North Carolina after lawmakers there blocked anti-discrimination protections for gay, lesbian and transgender people.

“”Last week Cuomo, a Democrat, banned state-funded travel to North Carolina after lawmakers there blocked anti-discrimination protections for gay, lesbian and transgender people””

Why does anyone think it’s necessary to add “a democrat” to people who make decisions like this? It will always and forever be “democrats” who are this twisted!

I'd like to see all the southern states in response ban the purchase of insurance from NE states. My 10K a year in life, auto, home, etc now goes to a company out of TX.

Just ban any gov't agency (schools etc) from purchasing insurance from a NY based company - see how long this lasts ...

Pretty soon the NYS bureaucrats won’t have anywhere to go on their non-essential travels.

Well, Mississippi should be thankful that NY is keeping their LGBT crowd at home .... maybe other states should pass the same legislation and all the queers, freaks, perverts, etc. would remain at home in Ca., Or., Wa. and the Northeast!

For the life of me I can’t think of any conventions MS would want to host that NY would want to attend. At least I hope we can’t think of anything.

This from a mafia jacked up corrupt son of a mass murderer father who is burning in hell with the blood of 12,000 murder victims who were killed “best to not leave any witnesses”.

Mario Coumo IN HELL vetoed the death penalty passed by the New York State Legislature for 12 years in a row.

His son is even more EVIL, as if that was possible.
