The minimum wage is zero when your job disappears. Democrats can’t grasp the concept.
In six years they will want $25.00 an hour. And on and on and on.
This has SEIU fingerprints all over it.
And applaud, for this is a neighboring hostile communist foreign nation.
So, one employee gets a raise and three get fired. Forward thinking, for sure.
Bad, bad times.
I know for a fact that a national corporation with production facilities in 30 of the 50 states will be moving any job out of California where the employee is currently making under $15.00/hour, and ASAP.

No shite Sherlock. This new minimum wage is indexed to inflation and many union contracts are indexed to the minimum wage. Minimum wage pushes up inflation which pushes up minimum wage. Rinse and repeat.
College students might consider a degree in robotics.
There’s NO WAY what happens in Los Angeles influences the way things go all over the country....
Being self employed I was always hoping that someday California might come to her senses and I could move back. It really is a beautiful state. Especially where I grew up (South Lake Tahoe).
I don’t see California changing her ways in my lifetime.
Thank goodness we have a Federal Reserve and unbacked, fiat currency, that can create all kinds of debt for both the government to support all these unemployed people and social-engineering schemes, and massive consumer debt for people to live off of.
Aren’t we lucky?

This will get good. If any of you have ever been to Needles CA it is funny.
Virtually nothing left there as far as private business. As soon as you cross the bridge over the CO River into AZ-businesses EVERYWHERE. And many are new.

I gave up that hope when I moved out in 2001.
Next we need a minimum-profit law for employers.
