Yea, they do great corned beef. Yum! Great pastrami too.
Cooked a Corned beef round for St. Patty’s. Still got some left. I’m gonna go make one.
Thanks! :-)
We had some time to spare heading back north to the Chicago suburbs so we decided to see some scenic sights and natural tourist attractions on the way home.
Guess what? We looked at a map and, outside of one state park, there WERE no sights to see on the way home!
(...but, boy, did we eat well that weekend, those Indiana farm wives really know how to cook...and everything was fresh from the fields, orchards, barnyards...real chicken, homemade noodles, fresh tomatoes, corn-on-the-cob, apple salads and apple and cream pies. All the ladies brought something for the groaning board and we ate under the old, shady trees near the barns. It was food and fun heaven. Then my husband got up on a a saddle-less old horse and the horse started up and he fell off the horse...forward! Only his dignity was injured)

I hate you.
LOL! Sorry, couldn’t help myself. I love me a good corned beef samich. And you brought it up.
BTW: I couldn’t help noticing on your profile page, your cat sniffing a can of chili. Now pray tell, what’s a good Texas boy doing with canned chili?
Isn’t that like a felony down there?
It will do for chili dogs or chili-mac.
Okay, Makes sense.
Great, now you got me thinking of chili. I love a good chili.
I hate you.
Venison chili is the best! I haven’t had any in ages.
About 30 miles west.
Indiana: I keep trying to get out, but they keep dragging me back in!
I was back there in December visiting folks!
