Attorney General Loretta Lynch issued a nine-page letter through her civil-rights division to municipal and state judges around the United States, warning them to ease off prosecution of criminals, particularly those of minority status, or else face loss of federal funding.
Specifically, she wants the 6,500 municipal level courts in the country to offer community service in lieu of jail time, or provide more amnesty days to those with outstanding warrants so they can pay a fee instead of serving behind bars, the New York Post reported.
The Stop Hillary campaign is on fire! Join the surging response to this theme: Clinton for prosecution, not president
And the recommendation comes with a caveat: Those who fail to comply could face the same type of federal scrutiny that Ferguson, Missouri, local police and courts saw after the police shooting of a black teen. The officer was found by local and federal authorities to have acted in self-defense, but the attorney generals office tasked the locals to change how they conducted some investigations and court hearings.
Lynch said shes currently evaluating discrimination complaints against several court systems, the New York Post reported.
In the letter, Lynchs civil-rights team also warns locals that policies that mandate arrests for failures to pay court fines and fees have an adverse disparate impact on blacks.
Colin Flahertys book, Dont Make the Black Kids Angry: The Hoax of Black Victimization and Those Who Enable It, documents black crime in America and exposes how the media and politicians are willing partners in what the author calls the greatest lie of our generation.

“In court systems receiving federal funds...”
Time for Federal funding of everything not specifically and exclusively Federal to be scaled back to nothing.
I wasn’t aware that state and municipal courts answered to the federal department of justice when it comes to administering State and municipal laws, or that the federal AG was somehow superior to those judges and courts.
Don’t think they believe that either.
Remember back when we were taught the quaint notion that all citizens were equal before the law?
And when a president and Attorney General enforced the laws rather than plotted ans schemed to circumvent them?
This is what they want. Right here.
Shoplifting under $150 will be catagorized as a non-crime just because black folk owed stuff.
Time is running short. They have been trying to bring local governments under federal control but have only 10 months left...and they can’t be sure their efforts to install Hillary as the next President will succeed. There could even be a Republican who eases up on the war on police. Going after judges is the other prong of the attack.
Cocked Locked and you know the rest...
Let them steal those things for once....
Some pigs are getting more equal.
In theory, no they don't. But when they accepted federal funding for various activities they hired a piper - a Pied Piper.
What am I paying state taxes for then?
These cockroaches are capable of anything.
Make sure you have a good supply of shovels as well. And don’t discuss it afterwards.
To have another layer of government oppress you.
There is a good chance Lynch’s policy to withhold funds is not authorized by Congress and illegal. Very much par for he course for this regime.
Please let me know when the shooting starts.
All of fedgov needs dismantling. All of it.
There’s a more remedial way. If it’s cut from the state, it gets cut from the general budget.
State criminal laws are it’s gown. When the fed starts muscling in, it’s time to cut the budgets.
I have no idea what you are talking about...
