This has been a charade of an primary election. The race is such a lopsided win for Trump that it’s ludicrous to suggest otherwise. We are stuck with a non-winner trying to steal delegates from a winner that’s way out in front on so many levels and issues.

Team Cruz is efficient in weaseling out wins in a few caucus states known for their oddball and malleable vote counting methods.
Cruz won:
Virgin Islands by 30 votes
Wyoming by 480 votes
Alaska by 600 votes
Maine by 2,500.

Here are the rounded total votes Cruz won in his nine winning states.

Wyoming 620 people
Virgin Isl 200 people
Alaska 8,400
Maine 8,500
Kansas 35,000
Iowa 52,000
Utah 122,00
Okie 158,000
He won eight states totaling 385,000 votes.
If it wasn’t for Texas, he’d have a pile of beans.

Ted’s lackluster Texas win, Texas 1,239,393.
Cruz’s winning votes in nine states are 1,724,000.
Cruz won 9 states with 1,724,000 votes

Trump won 21 states, and nearly all the states were won by tens or hundreds of thousands of votes. The millions that have attended his rallies have voted.
Marianas (343 people)
Hawaii 6K
Vermont 20K
Nevada 35K
Kentucky 83K
N. H. 101K
Louisiana 125K
Arkansas 133K
Mississipi 191K
South Car 241K
Arizona 250K
Mass. 311K
Tenn. 333K
Virginia 356K
AlaBama. 372K
Missouri 382K
N. Carol 458K
Michig. 483K
Georgia 503K
Illinois 557K
FLorida 1,079,741

Trump won 21 states with 6,020,000 votes

Cruz’s only way to prevail now is by chicanery and fraud, but then that’s just how he began this campaign.

wow...just look at those Trump numbers....just wow

I think the GOPe will try to pull the same ol’, same ol’ dirty tricks...they will try to hijack the convention....and if they somehow succeed....will rub our noses in it and ask if we really want Hillary to win, assuming we will vote in order to stop Hillary.

This time is very different.

I will NEVER vote GOPe again and prefer that they die a dishonorable death.

Actually he can also win by a vote of the delegates on a second or subsequent ballot. Chicanery is as available to Trump as it is to any candidate and involves convincing delegates to vote for you. If Trump can’t make those kind of deals he deserves to lose. He is, after all, an expert deal maker as I’m sure you’ve heard.

Political parties are run by powerful insiders and he’s at at disadvantage because the rules don’t really mean anything and are not enforceable in a court of law. They are subject to change, and vote recounts, and whatever else they can conspire to obtain their desired result.

It’s more a kin to doing business with third world foreigners that have no code of honor. No stinkin’ rules, really. And the democrats are worse with the super delegate nonsense.

He should have political lawyers at his disposal to play on their terms or he will lose even if he walks in Cleveland with 1237 or more.

And, if he wins, the GOPe may sabotage his win for Hellary. They’d rather themselves stay in their position.s and their beholden by the millions of dollars of elite donors. Some kind of system we have, mighty fine.

You are dreaming. Buying Trump will cost way less. If Trump wins the nomination (still a likelihood IMHO) the GOPe will cut their deals with Trump. He gets the massive GOPe financial support he needs to win, they get Business as Usual.

Trump will need to make that deal. The GOPe will be all too willing to oblige. They would prefer Kasich and would accept Cruz. But winning is everything and the GOPe will be there to pull Trump across the finish line - under their terms.

To believe otherwise is really naive. Your GOPe for Hillary Theory is just nonsense. She has her team. They will reap their reward if she is elected.

Actually at this point I think we will see it being Donald or the end of the GOP.
I have never seen such blatent attempted theft in my life from the American voter by the political class.

That is precisely what this election is. And if we don't get our bloodless revolution in November, sh!ts gonna get awful ugly.
