We found the Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association president is concerned about what he said officers have heard from federal officials about staffing. "The citys numbers arent jiving with what the FEMA instructors are telling them we need for this, and theyre the guys that go and train for this," CPPA President Steve Loomis said. Its absolutely the citys responsibility to make us as safe as possible.
But privately, those close to the security organizing are not worried. In fact, theyre confident security plans are coming together and staffing shouldnt be an issue.

obammy’s federal gub mint will do its best to make the scene in Cleveland look like a war zone.
Do what the dim-0-crats did in Boston - fence “them” in.
Ohio Ping!!
article and comments
Let me know if you want on or off the list.
Cleveland isn’t far from me. I think I will have to take that week off and visit the convention. I suspect there will be numerous photo opportunities.
Public union employees complaining about not having enough - who’d a thunk it?
The media are on the side of the thugs who will be bussed in. They will be portrayed as heroes and victims.
It will be ugly
It’s insane that the RNC and GOPe would want their convention in a city that is wall to wall Democrat. They deserve what they get...I believe we will see chaos both inside and outside the convention.
Let’s not forget that several democrats were arrested in a plot to BOMB the convention center when Sarah Palin was speaking. The plan was to detonate a bomb in the tunnel carrying the power cables shutting off the power. Several Democrat terrorists were arrested.
Just call in the boys from the Forest Service in Oregon, they are handy with dissenters.
Well, you can always do what the Democrat mayor Tom “Mumbles” Menino did when the Democrats held their convention in Boston. Building a chain link fence cage for the protestors, seriously.
When they get the order to stand down to give the thugs ‘room to vent’ (a la Baltimore’s Stephanie Blake), does it really matter how well they’re staffed?
I expect the Americans will be ready.
Just who thought it would be a good idea to hold the convention in CLEVELAND? About the worst place to have it.
I can guarantee you if that were to happen, we wouldn't have to worry about GOP-E incumbents come November.
The gangs of Chicago would see to that ..... Just sayin' .....
I live near Cleveland Hopkins and don’t want to be this close. Now we see concerns surfacing! I never understood why they chose Cleveland!
“Effective March 23, 2015, Ohio recognizes the concealed handgun license of any non-resident who has a valid concealed handgun license from any other state, regardless of whether Ohio has entered into a reciprocity agreement with that state.”
However, the Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine ((R)ino), might be strongly opposed to private individuals or organizations hoping to defend the RNC against violent jihadists, radical agitators, rioters and anarchists.
“He was one of only two Republican senators to vote against the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which banned lawsuits against gun manufacturers, distributors and dealers for criminal misuse of their products. In the 2006 election cycle, DeWine was the first senatorial candidate to be endorsed by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and displayed that endorsement on his campaign webpage.”
That is clear enough.
So obvious, in fact, that it may have been...intentional?
