What you hear now is the death rattle, or the dead-cat-bounce of the Cruzers, who don't have the self-respect to leave. Their candidate is humiliated and is only embarrassing himself now. He thinks he can cheat his way in. Serious mental problem. Cruz has been beaten like those bodies you see on nature documentaries where someone has been attacked by a grizzly bear.
