Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has a small lead over John Kasich in the Pennsylvania GOP primary, a new poll finds.

A Franklin & Marshall College poll released Thursday found Trump taking 36 percent to Kasich's 33 percent. That’s within the poll’s 4.7 percentage point margin of error.

Ted Cruz is in third place, at 20 percent.

This is a fantastic “winning” scenario for Cruz then, right? Even more distance between him and the front runner delegate winner that is somehow magically “good news!” ??

Looks like Surgin' Ted has surged his way to a distant last place in Pennsylvania!

Can't win Ohio, can't win Florida, can't win Michigan, can't win Pennsylvania, can't win Virginia... where's he supposed to win in November?

Harper Poll, with a larger sample size and a smaller MOE has Trump +17!

As important as it is for Trump to maximize delegates, it’s also important to completely sink K-sick!

So no Ted? So much the better.

Time to just stomp on Kasich. Trump is strong around Pittsburgh and in coal country. His strongest part of Ohio was in the east, so that is sure to carry over. He can win central PA easily, and make a play for Philadelphia and parts close to the NY border.

Actually I’m not seeing any place that is particularly weak.

Trump needs to win about 52+ percent of the remaining delegates, Cruz needs to win 82+ percent, and Kasich needs to win a lot more delegates than there are remaining.

Utah. I totally see them writing him in as 3rd party.

Kaysuck is not going to pull in the voters from PA

This is not Columbus Ohio Kaysuck loyalists surging a “Dump Trump” rally in the guise of a primary election

Trump20162020 :" where's he supposed to win ? "

How about a debate on facts , policy, and procedures ..

rather than caterwauling on twitter about wives ?

This poll cannot be right. We all know that the great Cruzier is winning 75% - 25% against all comers!

I think we should have a caucus instead of a primary, in fact, just to be sure!
