I went to UND. To those of us, who are NOT into PC, it will ALWAYS be the Fighting Sioux.
Many people who go to UND hockey games, wear jerseys with "Sioux" on them. Screw the PC crowd.

If someone is wearing a US uniform, they’re probably not terrorists. But then she doesn’t even know what US uniform looks like and no one in her circle or family is a veteran.
Sounds to me like they were just walking through. She saw the guns and uniforms and profiled them as enemies of the progressive movement.
I grew up in Grand Forks, so I was a Sioux hockey fan from WAY back. Now, they play in Engelstad Arena, probably on of the best college hockey arenas in the country. I played hockey with one of the Engelstad guys. I think he was a cousin of theirs.

It sounds like nothing of the kind. Terrorism exists on campuses. Shootings happen. Even the police and military conduct unannounced training ops in cities and scare the hell out of people.
Maybe if you consider books as a source of cleaning paper to pull through the barrel of your rifle you think this is a trivial situation, but the basic idea of giving clear warning to people you KNOW fear guns is mandatory.

Probably. But these days armed activities on campus should be clearly labeled to all. Too many much for everyone to to be perfectly clear at all times. Just like at a shooting range.

You need to watch the movie, Stripes. It’d be the extent of your military acumen but it might alert you to the diff between drills and exercises. ROTC marches in the quads; terrorists don’t. Not even SWAT teams do that. Watch your panic button; you sound like you belong on HUFFPO. BTW, I didn’t call you a dope. Even if you obviously know little about rifles, the military, exercises, drills, terrorism. And probably books, too for that matter.
