Beck has been spouting his religious lunacy, and calling Trump and his supporters “racists”, “Nazis” and “brownshirts” since the run up to the SC primary, and Cruz hasn’t called upon him to stop. Instead, Cruz has been campaigning with Beck. I think Beck is Cruz’ alter ego. Just today, in response to the Brussels bombings, Cruz went on a tirade against Trump, essentially blaming him for the attacks.
