Why?
Romney fell short because he wasn’t firm on principle, and he wouldn’t fight.
Trump fights. Cruz fights. One of them will take it. Cruz is firm on principle, on the Constitution, which is why I back him. Trump is firm on national sovereignty, which is why I will back him gladly if Cruz can’t beat him.
Its a win-win.

This was before Cruz received the highly coveted Romney endorsement. I’m sure they’re one big happy family now.

Cruz has lost me at this point, but I was right behind you a couple of weeks ago. I’d gladly pull the lever for either of them though! Or Mickey Mouse for that matter, as long as it gets the libs out of there!
I wouldn't worry about it too much. Cruz fooled a lot of people. The true picture a man's character is what he does when he is down not when he is on top. Cruz has shown himself to all watching that he will do and say anything to achieve his goal. Even if it means selling his principles.

I think I know what you’re saying. He annoyed me when he blamed Trump for the riot in Chicago. Had I not already voted, I would have been sorely tempted to change my vote.
