Do you also find it striking that the author points to the indirect influence of voter preferences, despite that fact that a great percentage of the electorate has realized that their elected representatives don’t, in fact, “represent”?
State laws enforcing elector fidelity should be legal. Federal laws absolutely are not.
This discussion will be interesting. Will we have advocates of Original Intent of the Constitution over Presidential eligibility about a dispute over a definition that is missing from the actual document (the birthers aligned against Cruz and Rubio) taking sides to stand against a very clear methodology for choosing the Electoral College?
Only the Shadow knows.
IF the Establishment steals our votes and hands them over to a bunch of professional hacks... we’ll fight...
The whole country will fight - not just ‘common sense’ conservatives. All of us... Bernie supporters, Cruz supporters, Americans of every stripe... even some of Jeb’s people...
bkmk
I’ll stick to what I have said before: If the Electoral Collage was unwilling to prevent Obama from becoming President, then the whole concept is TOTALLY FUTILE.
