Sadly, it appears that, like their candidate, the Trump people are just unable or unwilling to adhere to any generally accepted notions of decent behavior or decorum. They seem totally unable to stay off of Cruz rally threads, nor able to refrain from hurling personal insults and invective.
They seem to be the actual personification of the “ugly American” conception that Europeans have put forth for decades now. Now watch, right on schedule, Trumpeters will rush to insult me for having the temerity to point these things out.

Last I checked, the “age” requirement for being POTUS was to be 35 years old. So Cruz qualifies.

Of course, both conclusions are absurd (your conclusions and what I mentioned about David Duke). The real truth is that some in the Republican Establishment hate Trump worse than they hate Cruz.. and are only RELUCTANTLY supporting Cruz, as a last resort, at this last hour. Anyone who thinks that Lindsay Graham—who is diametrically opposed to Cruz on MANY issues—LIKES this situation... is an idiot.

But folks have to remember it took Reagan 3 tries to get the nomination.
Cruz and Rubio will be around the political scene for decades.
And if Cruz has to come back and try again, I pray that the country isn’t so far gone, and he’s still able to.
In any case, I believe it’s in Gods hands and His will will be done. That doesn’t mean I have to like it. Right? :)

I’m so bummed. I got tickets to the event, because it said tickets were “required”, and the doors opened at 6. So, color me surprised, when we arrived at 6:15 and just as we got to the doors, they were closing them because the fire marshall said it was already at full capacity. The guy at the door said tickets didn’t matter.
So we drove home and tried to stream it online, since no one was showing the event on tv. But Cruz should have booked a much bigger place, with so many people showing up.
Sorry you missed out but glad he had good turnout.
