In the race for the Republican presidential nomination, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas has won more states than anyone other than Donald Trump and runs second in delegates won. But is that enough to persuade the anti-Trump forces that the rebellious outsider is now their best hope of blocking the New York billionaire?
Cruz told supporters at his post-election rally Tuesday night in Houston that only he and Trump have a viable strategy to assemble the delegates needed to capture the nomination. That assertion is based on the campaigns internal data analysis of the contests ahead, Cruzs confidence in the organizational prowess of his team and a bit of bravado on the part of the candidate.

1. I do not believe Cruz can beat Trump to get the nomination.
2. I don't think Cruz has a chance against Hillary in the general election.
3. What makes Cruz think he has a chance --other that the stealth GOPe support he has been getting with the only purpose of sinking Trump.

The same analysis had him winning Illinois and Missouri and placing in North Carolina. He had zero wins.

I’ll agree that he needs help; that’s for sure.
Now that my snark and bile is over, I’ll read the article.

Cruz is delusional, obviously can't do math, his advisers are lying to him, and they can't do math either. An d "sinking Trump" is beyond his meager ability!
Or...............he's just a liar and now believes the lies he tells himself.

Shoot, I really could use help.
$100, $500. Let's get that cash rolling in. Don't know if I can twirl as good, though.

Whoever is the Republican candidate to emerge from this 17 member circular firing squad, we should all get behind and get out and vote. The stakes are too high.
