Whatever do you mean?! For a couple weeks now, the media has been telling us how incredibly popular KaSuck is in Ohio! /s/
I can't imagine that robo calls do anything but turn voters off. I absolutely hate them. One day in late October 2012 I came home and had my entire tape on my old answering machine filled with robo calls.
“I dont know one single person who has spoken out about supporting him”
Spoken out is speaking out, voting is voting.
Speaking out requires a bit of bravery, especially in our current iteration of society where having a non-liberal opinion is racist on its face, unless it’s bigoted, unless it’s homophobic or unless it’s all of those.
I strongly believe that for many, many people, voting is something like stepping into a church confessional (something I know nothing about since I am Jewish) and having one of those moments where people do what their daddy told them to do. It’s absolutely true for Jews, who in overwhelming numbers vote for the destruction of their homeland under the guise of supporting the union their grandfather belonged to. The subconscious drama of that moment, I believe, makes people forget their principles for a minute. Not everyone of course. The idea of a protest vote is....rare. These are my opinions only. You may think the privacy of the moment would allow people to opine and express. I just don’t believe it works that way in real life. People don’t like quiet. They don’t use the opportunity to think nor reflect.
I also believe that about 60% of people do not have the slightest grasp of any intelligent thought at all and simply vote for the more familiar name. Voting is IMO more an act of cowardice (for want of a milder word) than an exemplar of bravery or standing on principles.
I'm the one from day one who feared this excellent level of campaigning from Kasich. Last time he ran, he had an opponent with flaws. Kasich's campaign DESTROYED the opponent so bad that Kasich won just about every county in the state.
I'll give Kasich that. When he plots out a campaign, it's no-holds-barred to win. Trump was very wise to not get on that stage standing between Kasich and Cruz.
There are a few methods of defeating vote fraud.
Roles purged of dead people.
Vigorous prosecution of anyone voting multiple times, and the bus drivers taking them poll to poll, with horrific penalties.
Purple fingers.
Paper ballots.
All precincts report at the same time. (Isn’t it odd how often the last precinct to report has just enough votes to override the clear majority in the other precincts???)
And a vast tidal wave of votes too overwhelming to overcome with voter fraud.
Or, should the ballot box fail, bullets. Let’s not go there. Really. Let’s not.
Every time I vote I mention the fact that I don’t trust the ma Hines at all. No one else speaks up. Also, last year I wanted to do a write in for a very in consequential race. It would not let me no matter how often I clicked on write in. When I called the woman in charge she basically said, “ A write in vote is like not voting.” I was shocked at her response.
Machines....... not Ma hines.
If you DON’T want my vote, robocall me.
Why oh why did I ever give my real phone number to Wayne LaPierre?
I did DU a few months ago. The way the run the forum, the bells and whistles they have, and the forum software are well done. But, like yourself, I only lasted a matter of hours. They water we swim in here is so different from DUers, even the language used makes for fast recognition. It gave me an appreciation for the commonality among those I run with.
; )
We must have red flags popping up all over the place. Maybe truth is just too obvious. :?)
In my case, I used the phrase “death panels,” unironically.
Bam. Zip.
Lol. That’ll do it.
I’m not saying they were smart, just what they did.
I live in Ohio. Except for the two commies in my office who voted respectively for Berne and Hildabeast I did not know of anyone else anywhere who said they were voting Kasich. Everyone one was voting for Trump. However, I do not think much cheating went on. I do believe there were a lot of crossovers for Kasich...more so than for Trump...because Kasich is really nothing more than a Democrat with an R in front of his name. He is the epitome of old school Democrat and appeals to Dem voters who are not yet totally nuts.
I finally found a friend today who voted for Kasich. Without thinking I blurted out that kasich is a joke. Hope he wasn’t offended. But it’s the truth. Kasich is a joke.
It’s possible that we will see two presidents elected: One elected by the vote of the people, and the other elected via obvious voter fraud by the elitist fascist/commie scum.
It will rip this country apart.
Nope.
Heavily Republican county in a sea of Democratic.
If you are committed Democrat, you declare, obviously.
Why would 5K independents ask for a Democratic ballot?
You mean to tell me that of all of the candidates on the Republican slate, not one of them was enticing enough to vote for, but these people were driven to show up in a primary to vote for Hillary or Bernie?
No way.
It’s been proven over and over that neither one of them are picking up independents.
Let’s pray that God frustrates their schemes.
